Hello and welcome.
Today's meditation is to assist with surrender,
To become open to receiving.
In this practice we will gently release resistance,
Soften our grip and allow ourselves to flow with the natural rhythm of life.
Surrender is not about giving up,
It is about trusting the process and opening to the wisdom that unfolds when we let go.
Find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed for the next 10 to 15 minutes.
This is your time.
Time to be present,
To receive,
To listen.
Throughout this process I will ask you for consent to go into different areas of your body.
Everything is with consent.
If you don't consent or you don't want me to enter your energetic field,
Then the energy will simply go around you.
This is your body,
Your life and you get to choose if you want these changes or not.
Okay,
So asking consent to enter your field to take you on this guided journey.
Just nod your head or say yes out loud.
Let's begin.
Gently close down your eyes and take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs completely.
Good.
Hold that breath and then exhale slowly.
Another deep breath in and then all the way out.
Let each breath guide you to deeper relaxation.
And with each inhale,
I want you to feel yourself opening.
And with each exhale,
Feel yourself releasing.
Allow your body to soften,
Your shoulders to relax and your jaw to unclench.
There is nothing to do,
Nowhere to go,
Just this moment,
Right here,
Right now.
Gently bring your awareness to the sensations in your body.
Notice any areas of tightness or tension and without judgment,
Just simply observe and imagine breathing a warm golden light into those spaces,
Bringing softness and allowing them to release effortlessly.
Good.
Now bring your awareness to your thoughts.
Are there any worries,
Expectations or fears lingering in your mind?
And if so,
Acknowledge them with kindness,
As if greeting an old friend.
There is no need to push them away,
Just allow them to be.
Give yourself permission to let go of control and to trust in the flow of life.
As you breathe in,
Silently say to yourself,
I trust.
As you breathe out,
Say I let go.
Good.
Let's do this again.
Breathe in,
I trust.
Breathe out,
I let go.
In,
I trust.
Out,
I let go.
Good.
Feel the tension dissolve with each breath.
Feel the mind settle into stillness.
If thoughts arise,
Acknowledge them and return to your breath.
Imagine each thought as a leaf floating down a gentle river,
Carried away effortlessly.
Good.
Now I want you to bring your mind into a space where you can imagine yourself standing in front of a gentle stream.
How amazing does it look?
It's so peaceful,
So calming,
So tranquil.
It beckons you to step in.
So if you're willing and if you choose,
Take a step into the water.
And the water flows around you.
You can go as deep as you like.
It can be ankles,
It can be knees,
It can be up to your middle,
Whatever you like.
It's cool and refreshing and you feel so safe.
And this safety,
This feeling of safety allows you to release anything that feels heavy,
Any worries,
Any fears,
Any expectations,
Allowing them to be carried away by the current.
The water cleanses you and renews you,
Leaving you feeling lighter and more at peace.
Good.
When you're ready,
Calm,
Centered and feeling free,
I want you to step out of the stream and let's take a walk.
I want you to come across a vast open field full of beautiful wildflowers and it's under a brilliant blue sky.
It just feels so warm and so nurturing that you want to lay down in the field so that you can watch the clouds in the sky.
So if you choose,
Let yourself lay down in that field.
The sun warms your skin and the soft grass cradles you.
You surrender completely to this moment,
Feeling the earth support you unconditionally.
There is nothing to hold on to,
Nothing to resist,
Just pure presence and trust.
Let everything else melt into the earth.
As you're laying there in the stillness of your body,
Imagine a golden light surrounding you,
Filling you with a sense of deep peace and safety.
This light represents trust,
Love and the infinite wisdom of life itself.
Allow it to flow into every cell of your body,
Dissolving any remaining resistance.
And as you breathe,
Feel yourself merging with this light,
Becoming one with its warmth and serenity.
There is no separation,
Only unity,
Only surrender,
Only peace.
Good,

Let's bring our focus back to your breath.
I want you to breathe in and breathe out.
Good.
Nice,
Big,
Deep breath in.
That's it.
And out.
Now slowly bring your awareness back to your body,
Back to the ground beneath you and the space around you.
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Reawakening your body.
And when you feel ready,
You can open your eyes,
Carrying this sense of trust and surrender with you into your day,
Knowing that you're exactly where you need to be.
I surrender to the flow of life.
I trust in the unfolding.
I am at peace.
Take one final big,
Deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
I want you to know you are free,
You are whole,
You are at peace.
