Choosing you is part of my mini meditation series for those short on time and looking for some gentle guidance. This meditation is to assist in releasing self-sabotage and the limiting beliefs that potentially hold you back. Leaving you feeling – safe, supported, and empowered.

Transcript

Hello and welcome.

Today's guided meditation is about choosing you and learning to release sabotage,

Saying yes to yourself and letting go of limiting beliefs that may be holding you back.

Let's begin.

Find a comfortable space where you will not be interrupted for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

This time is for you.

Throughout this process I'm going to be asking for consent to enter your energy field.

Everything is with consent.

If you don't consent or you don't want me to enter that's fine.

The energy will simply go around you.

This is your body,

Your life and you get to choose if you want these changes or not.

Okay so let's get that consent.

So if you're ready for me to take you on this guided journey just nod or you can say yes out loud.

Get comfortable either sitting or lying down and gently begin to draw your awareness inward.

Close down your eyes and take a slow deep breath in through the nose.

That's it.

All the way in and out through the mouth.

Good.

Again breathe deeply in through the nose and exhale all the way out.

Good.

Letting the body soften.

Letting the nervous system begin to settle.

Letting your awareness return to your inner world.

With each breath invite your body to soften and release and relax.

Soften your jaw,

Your shoulders,

Your belly.

Let everything begin to melt.

That's it.

This is your time.

This is your space.

You are safe here.

Now let's bring your awareness gently to the parts of you that may feel stuck.

The parts that may sabotage your forward movement,

Your joy,

Your happiness.

The parts that say no,

Not yet,

You're not ready,

You're not good enough,

Don't move forward,

Don't take that step.

I don't want you to try and fix anything right now.

I just want you to notice.

Witness it without judgment.

These parts of you were once formed to protect you,

To keep you safe,

To help you to survive.

So I don't want you to be angry at them.

I want you to see them and witness them.

So now they're ready to soften.

They're ready to be seen,

To be surrendered.

I want you to breathe into that place in your body where you feel this energy that might be stuck.

Where do you feel that stuckness,

That resistance?

Where are you holding it?

Where do you feel it?

Let your breath gently meet that space.

That's it.

And as you breathe in,

Simply say in your mind,

I see you.

I hear you.

And I'm ready to surrender and to choose a different path.

Good.

Now imagine yourself standing at the edge of a lush green forest.

I want you to feel what you feel,

See what you see,

Hear what you hear.

This is a sacred space,

A space of transformation.

The light is soft.

The air is fresh.

The ground is steady beneath your feet.

The trees are majestical and tall.

And they offer you guidance.

Listen.

They're there for love and support and nurture.

In your hand,

You hold a small glowing lantern.

Inside this lantern is all the energy of the old stories that you're ready to release.

Self-sabotage,

Limiting beliefs,

Not putting yourself first,

Saying no to yourself.

I want you to feel the weight of that lantern.

Hmm,

Yeah,

It feels a little bit heavy.

But you know that it's actually the light to guide your way and it's filled with potential.

As you begin to walk slowly through the forest path,

I want you to feel the energy of the earth rise up to support you.

With every step,

You become lighter.

You whisper to yourself,

I no longer carry what no longer serves me.

I am safe to let go.

So with that knowing and that new thought process,

I want you to see that you've arrived at a gentle flowing stream.

It's crisp and clear.

Good,

Beautiful blue.

I want you to kneel beside the stream and I want you to open the lantern and watch as the energy,

The beliefs,

The patterns dissolve into the water of the stream.

Feel the lightness,

Feel the release,

Feel the possibility that begins to open inside you now that you no longer carry those patterns,

Those beliefs.

Good.

Good.

Now from the forest path ahead,

A golden light begins to emerge.

And from this light,

You see yourself.

The version of you who chooses herself.

The one who says yes to her desires.

The one who knows her worth.

The one who honors herself and her truth.

She walks towards you with open arms and love and a radiant heart.

She places her hands on yours and looks into your eyes and says,

I am so very proud of you.

Good.

Let her hug you and breathe right into that moment.

Breathe in her energy and let it merge with yours.

You are her.

She is you.

You are now no longer waiting.

You are no longer sabotaging.

You are no longer denying your yes.

You are fully merged into you.

The real you,

The true you,

The you that matters.

Good.

Now place one hand over your heart and one hand over your womb space.

Feel your body open,

Alive,

Receptive,

Receptive to new ideas,

To creativity,

To life.

Repeat in your mind or out loud if it feels right for you.

I choose myself now.

I honor my desires.

I am safe to receive.

It is safe for me to be seen,

Supported and radiant.

I no longer wait for permission.

I am the permission.

I choose me.

Let those words ripple through your body.

Let them become a new truth,

A new pathway,

A new way of being.

Good.

Nice big deep breath in here.

Full breath in through the nose.

Good.

And a long grounding exhale out through the mouth.

Centering yourself,

Feeling totally supported,

Nurtured,

Loved.

Good.

Now let's bring you back to awareness.

Take one final deep breath in.

All the way in and exhale fully,

Trusting that you have released all that was ready to go.

Well done.

Slowly bring your awareness back to your body,

Back to this space,

Back to now.

Hearing the sound of my voice.

When you're ready,

Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Bringing awareness back to the present moment.

That's it.

Coming back into the space around you,

Feeling the ground beneath you,

Feeling more spacious,

More connected,

More whole.

Slowly open your eyes.

Good.

Carrying this feeling of clarity,

Ease and trust with you.

You are no longer here to dim your light.

You are here to choose yourself over and over again to say yes to you and let your light shine brightly,

Even if others have trouble standing beside you.

And so it is.

Good job.
