Hi everyone,
Thank you for joining me for this tapping session.
Today I wanted to work on releasing the workday.
Thinking about whether you work from home or you work,
You have to go into the office into the building wherever you work.
Just thinking about wrapping up your day and sometimes you leave work and you still have all that work energy,
That work stress.
You feel tense,
You feel tight,
You feel tired.
So I wanted to do a session on releasing that energy from work,
Releasing that anxiety,
Releasing the stress.
So we'll start by taking a deep breath in and just sigh it out,
Breathe it out,
Scream it out.
If you're in your car,
Let out a scream,
Let it out.
And we'll start by tapping on the side of the hand,
The karate chop point.
And so just repeat after me,
I will say the words and then I'll give you some space to just repeat what I say and just continue tapping.
I'll guide you through the points.
So starting with the side of the hand,
Even though I am feeling all this stress from my workday.
I honor the way that I feel right now.
I am open to releasing stress.
Even though I am still feeling tense.
I honor the fact that I am acknowledging this now.
And I am open to my body releasing any remaining stress.
Even though I still have some residual tension.
I honor the way that I feel.
And I am open to moving forward with the rest of my day.
Letting go of as much stress and tension as possible.
We'll go to the eyebrow point,
Right where your eyebrow meets the bridge of your nose,
The inner corner of either or both eyes.
Tapping gently.
All of this workday stress.
Side of the eye,
Outer corner of the eye,
About one or two fingers from the edge of your eye.
I release it now.
Under the eye,
Right under the iris,
Right on your cheekbone.
All of this work tension.
Under the nose,
Right in between your bottom of your nose and your top lip.
All of this stress from my workday.
Under the lip,
Right between where your lip ends and the bottom of your chin,
Right in that crease.
Using all of the tension from the day.
We'll go to the collarbone,
Right where you feel that little V in your collarbone,
Right at the base of the neck.
All of the stress from my workday.
Under the arm,
About four inches below your armpit.
Releasing all of this workday stress and tension.
Then we'll go to the top of the head,
Just tapping in a circle around the crown of the head,
Allowing my body to recover from the workday.
Back to the eyebrow,
Releasing any tension from my body.
Side of the eye,
Allowing my muscles to relax.
Under the eye,
Allowing myself to breathe deeper.
Under the nose,
Letting go of this workday.
Under the lip,
I have logged out of my time system.
Collarbone.
So I am not getting paid to stress about work right now.
Under the arm,
I can take all that work stress that I may be feeling.
Top of the head,
And I can send it back to wherever my job is.
Eyebrow point.
And I log back in the next day that I'm working.
Side of the eye,
I can worry again if I need to.
Under the eye,
But right now I'm not getting paid to worry about it.
Under the nose,
Right now I am not getting paid to stress about it.
Under the lip,
So why do I continue stressing about it?
Collarbone,
Why am I holding on to this work tension?
Under the arm,
How is this work tension helping me right now?
Top of the head,
I release the tension from my workday from my body.
Eyebrow point,
I release the tension from this workday from my mind.
Side of the eye,
I release the tension from this workday from the air around me.
Under the eye,
I allow myself to move forward feeling refreshed.
Under the nose,
I allow my shoulders to relax.
Under the lip,
I allow my breath to flow in and out with grace and ease.
Collarbone,
I can sit up just a little bit taller right now.
Under the arm,
I think I'm starting to feel a little bit better.
Top of the head,
And I allow myself to feel even better as the rest of the day goes on.
Eyebrow point,
Releasing the residual tension from my workday.
Side of the eye,
Releasing the residual stress from my workday.
Under the eye,
Going forward with ease and grace through the rest of my day.
Under the nose,
Feeling good about the work that I did today.
Under the lip,
Feeling grateful that I had a job to go to today.
Collarbone,
Feeling grateful for all of the things that I did today.
Under the arm,
Feeling grateful that I am capable of doing all that I do.
Top of the head,
And I honor and accept myself as much as I can.
I honor my past,
I honor my present,
And I honor my future.
You can gently stop tapping,
Take another deep breath in,
And let it go.
Feel the gratitude that you can allow yourself to have for yourself,
For everything that you do,
Everything you do for yourself,
Everything you do for your family,
And everything you do for other people.
You are capable and you are stronger than you think,
And you are an amazing,
Beautiful soul.
I hope this tapping session was helpful,
And I hope you can move through the rest of your day with a smile on your face,
And holding your head high and relaxing your shoulders.
Cheers.
