Welcome to this morning meditation.
Whether you've just opened your eyes or you're taking a quiet moment before your day begins.
I'm so glad you're here.
This isn't about forcing yourself to wake up or instantly feel energized.
It's an invitation to meet yourself exactly as you are this morning.
However you arrive today.
Is OK.
And before the messages begin.
Before the to-do list starts.
And before the many roles you hold for other people.
These next few minutes are for you.
Allow yourself to find a comfortable position.
Take a slow breath into your nose.
And gently sigh it away.
Again,
Breathing in.
Sighing out.
Once more.
And.
.
.
And away.
Allow your 8th breath to remind your body.
That for these next few moments there's nowhere else you need to be.
And now let's breathe a little deeper.
We'll be breathing in for Cain to fall.
And eight for a kind of six.
Let's breathe together.
Breathing in 2,
3,
4 and 8,
2,
3,
4,
5.
6.
2,
3,
4,
And 8.
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
In 2,
3,
4,
And 8.
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
Breath returning.
To its usual pace.
And now imagine the morning sun.
Beginning to rise.
And the warmth of this golden light spreads across your forehead.
Dyeing the face,
Softening the jaw,
Flowing down to the neck and the shoulders.
Across the chest,
Down the arms and hands.
To the belly,
Hips,
Legs and feet.
Today is a new beginning.
And as this warmth settles through your body,
Perhaps remember this.
Before the world asks anything of you.
And before you take care of anyone else.
You are already enough.
There is nothing to prove today.
Your worth was here before you opened your eyes this morning.
Take a gentle breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Slowly opening your eyes.
May you remember that you don't have to earn your worth.
It's been with you.
All along.
