Hi,
My name is Kiana.
In this meditation,
We'll be using color as a gentle way to check in with ourselves and express what's within.
There's no right or wrong,
Just curiosity and permission to feel.
You'll need a few materials,
Paper,
A few colors of your choice,
Paint,
Markers,
Crayons,
Whatever feels right,
And a quiet space to be yourself.
I invite you to pause if you need to grab those things.
Otherwise,
Let's begin.
Okay,
And so I invite you to take a deep breath in and let it go.
Notice where your body is making contact with the chair or the ground.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your breath slow.
Now gently place your hand over your heart or stomach,
Wherever feels most comforting.
Ask yourself softly,
What color represents how I feel today?
Don't overthink it.
Just notice the first color that comes to mind.
Pick up that color and begin to move it across your paper.
Let your hand move without judgment.
Slow,
Fast,
Swirling,
Still,
Whatever feels most like you right now.
With each stroke,
Allow yourself to feel seen.
You're expressing without needing words.
This is your inner world made visible.
Take a breath in and exhale.
And if another color calls to you,
Welcome it.
Let it flow.
This is your space,
Your pause,
Your truth on paper.
Take a moment to notice how your body feels now.
You feel more open,
More grounded.
Just take a moment to observe.
Remembering to breathe and just take this moment for yourself.
And as we close,
Gently put your materials down.
Place your hand over your heart and thank yourself for showing up,
For creating,
For being.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes,
Stretch and return.
You did a good job and please feel free to continue if you want to,
Or you can stop here and go on about your day.
Have a beautiful day.
