Hi,
I'm Kiana,
A therapist and meditation teacher passionate about helping people connect with their bodies through mindfulness.
This meditation is designed to help you move with awareness,
Release tension,
And tap into your body's natural rhythm.
It's not about perfection,
Just being present with yourself.
Feel free to modify the movements as needed and trust what your body tells you.
Now let's begin.
And so,
Welcome to this guided move your body meditation.
This isn't about looking a certain way.
It's about feeling your body,
Finding flow,
And staying present.
So wherever you are,
Let go of expectations and just tune into yourself.
Let's start with the breath.
I invite you to take a big deep inhale through your nose and exhale slowly.
Again inhale,
Filling up and exhale,
Letting go.
One more time,
Big inhale and exhale,
Letting that go.
There,
Letting and releasing any tension.
Now as you breathe,
Feel the rhythm around you,
The beat,
Your heartbeat,
Your breath is all connected.
Now we're going to bring some movement in.
So I invite you just starting with your shoulders,
Start to roll your shoulders back,
Big loose circles.
If you want to,
You can do one arm at a time,
Or one shoulder at a time I should say.
And now roll them forward and feel the tension melt away.
Now it can be helpful to sway side to side,
Shifting your weight from one foot to the other if you're standing.
And if you're sitting,
I just invite you to like tap your feet left to right and try to even tap to the beat.
Let it be smooth,
Effortless,
Like you're moving with the music.
I invite you to just take a moment to loosen your neck,
Drop your chin to your chest and gently roll your head from side to side.
There is no rush,
Just feeling where your body needs to release.
Remembering to breathe.
Now we're going to take a moment to let the beat guide us.
We're just going to feel it in our body.
Maybe it's a small bounce,
A slow groove,
Or a deep breathing,
Breath syncing with the rhythm.
Let your arms get involved.
Reach up,
Stretch to side to side.
Maybe you let them flow,
Or maybe you feel the music in your fingertips.
Maybe you want to continue to sway,
Just focusing on your legs supporting you.
Whatever movement comes naturally,
Let it happen.
Your body knows what it needs.
There are no rules,
Just rhythm.
While we're taking a moment to just feel the beat,
I invite you to take big,
Deep inhales and then exhale.
Let it all go while you're moving your body.
Know that you're doing an amazing job by just taking this time for yourself.
Again,
We'll do that again,
Inhaling,
And then exhale.
Let go.
Let it all go.
Let what you don't want go.
Now we're going to open up to a full body movement.
Whether you're standing,
Sitting,
Or lying down,
Let your body move in a way that just feels good to you.
Again,
You can sway,
Stretch,
Bounce,
Shift.
There's no right way,
Just your way.
Let your breath stay steady.
Inhale as you expand,
And exhale as you settle.
Feel how your body moves with ease and how your energy shifts.
If you want to close your eyes,
Please do so,
And if you want to smile,
Let it happen.
This is your moment to just be.
Just take a moment to know what it feels like to move your body.
And even if we're not fully connected or we just have areas that maybe we want to work on,
Just take a moment to love your body.
Notice how it feels to move in your body.
Remembering to breathe.
And now we're going to start to slow it down.
Start bringing the movement to stillness.
But keep that inner rhythm alive.
Take a deep breath in,
And exhale.
Feel your heartbeat,
Your breath,
Your body fully present,
Fully alive.
Roll your shoulders one last time.
Shake out your hands,
Your legs.
And when you're ready to return to stillness,
You are here,
You are present.
And this energy stays with you even after this meditation ends.
Thank you for moving with me today.
Take this rhythm with you into your day.
Have a beautiful day.
You did a great job.
