If you've been feeling stressed,
Anxious,
Depressed,
Lonely,
Restless,
Bored,
Perhaps even joyous,
Peaceful,
Thankful,
Delightful,
Celebratory,
Or somewhat whatsoever you feel is a-okay,
We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can let go of some of the pain and come back to faith in the unfolding of our day.
You can lie down or sit up,
Close the eyes or leave them open.
Whatever you like,
Whatever's natural.
Dropping the shoulders,
Relaxing the face,
The jaw,
The lips,
The forehead,
The eyes.
Softening the body,
Letting go of tension with your awareness.
Allowing thoughts of the future,
Thoughts of the past to be as they are.
As you bring all your attention inwards,
Witnessing and welcoming any sensations.
Very gently,
Very lovingly.
And taking a deep breath in.
Holding that breath at the top,
Becoming aware as you hold the breath.
And exhale,
Letting go.
Way to stay with it,
My friend.

Every cell in the body breathing in.
Breathing out.
Relaxing the jaw,
Letting go of all the tension in the face,
The eyes,
The hands,
The feet.
Feeling the stillness of the ground beneath you.
Feeling grounded,
Centered.

To change course,
To give up.
And in those moments,
You come into the strength of your awareness,
Your love.
You let go of those thoughts very gently,
Very lovingly.
Come back to just how strong that you are.
Remembering how much you've already gotten through,
How much you've already navigated.
Remembering that you're stronger than you think.
