Jacob Rhines

Meditation isn’t about silencing your thoughts or becoming some perfectly calm, enlightened being. It’s about getting to know yourself—really know yourself—and realizing that you don’t have to fight your own mind. You don’t have to win against it. You don’t have to be “good” at this. The practice is about making space for your full, messy, beautiful human experience, exactly as it is. Jacob learned this firsthand when he found himself in a brightly lit grocery store, in the middle of a panic attack, saying out loud, “I’m having a panic attack right now… and somehow, I’m okay.” It was the first time he saw how meditation wasn’t just something he did alone in a quiet room—it was something that could walk with him through life. Since then, he's spent years studying, practicing, questioning, and integrating - learning how to be with life as it is, without force. What Jacob teaches isn’t about escape. It’s about learning the tools that help you develop strength from within—the kind that lets you sit solidly in your own body, trust your own mind, and move through the world with a little more ease. Jacob isn't here to tell you what to believe; but wants to help you build a personal relationship with your own awareness. A place to land, exhale, and expand. If that sounds like something you need, welcome in. - Jacob, Nurture of Mind

Jacob has a really soothing voice and keeps you engaged and focus through this lovely meditation. I loved the reference to childhood selves too, what a helpful perspective!

Amazing - I often find myself being self-critical so it was great to lean into a non-directed approach. Keep it up
