What if freedom isn’t a place you go, but a feeling you return to? This poetic reflection invites you to explore a deeper meaning of freedom, not as escape or achievement, but as something much more intimate: the gentle reclaiming of your inner space. A quiet reminder that true liberation begins when you stop running from yourself and start coming home. Let these words guide you back to your rhythm, your truth, and the deep peace that arises when you no longer seek permission to be who you are.

I used to think freedom was a place,

So I went to search for it,

Far away on distant shores in quiet valleys and wild forests and high up mountains.

Sometimes I found it there,

But not always.

And that was when I learned that freedom is not a location on a map,

It's not something we can book,

Plan,

Or chase.

Freedom is a state of being,

A whisper within that reminds us we were never meant to live caged,

That we carry the key to every door we once thought was locked within ourselves.
