Welcome,
I'm Jocelyn.
You have the power to say yes.
You have the power to bypass your inner critic,
Your watcher at the gates.
You have the power to just say yes.
And sometimes it doesn't feel like that as we prepare to say yes.
Maybe our nervous system rocks out of balance,
Or we begin to feel anxiety.
We begin to allow our mind to drift to the past,
Or float toward the future.
But here in the present moment,
You have the power to say yes,
To trust your yes.
You have every opportunity to say yes.
There are times in our lives where that yes is right in front of us,
Staring us in the face,
Looking at us deep in our own eyes.
And we feel the yes,
We feel it begin to form on our lips,
In our throats,
Being birthed from our hearts.
We feel the blossom of a yes begin to open.
And that's when sometimes,
Not all of the time,
The what if begins.
And there is a lot of beauty in those words,
What if.
Because it's as easy to say,
What if something goes wrong,
As it is to say,
What if it goes magnificently right.
Saying yes to yourself,
Saying yes to your intuition,
Your instinct,
Saying yes to the moments that present themselves to us.
Saying yes is a radical act of self-love.
And here's the thing,
In this life,
You really can't fail.
You could look at failure in so many ways.
You could look at it by how it's defined,
By a school system,
By a medical system,
By a government,
By a neighborhood,
By an HOA,
Right?
You can look at that word failure by how it's been defined in so many different areas of life.
But when it comes down to it,
You have a soul.
And that soul is housed in this body.
And it came into this life to experience and express.
So no matter what you're saying yes to,
You're going to experience something,
And you're going to express something.
There's really truly no failure when you begin to look at your life through the eyes of your soul.
And oftentimes,
What is looked at as a failure in all of those different areas of life can birth the most beautiful success,
Even if it doesn't happen right away.
So when I say saying yes,
I mean it on a whole boatload of levels.
I mean saying yes to what your body wants,
Saying yes to the challenges,
Saying yes to the whispers of your intuition,
Saying yes to your inspirations,
Your crazy ideas that come out of nowhere,
Out of synchronicities.
And saying yes looks different for everyone.
It doesn't necessarily mean that you drop everything in a moment's notice.
You can have a tentative yes where you dip your toes in.
You could have a yes where you experiment with it and explore and play with it.
You can have a yes in your life that you sit with and really feel into to make sure it's the right yes for you,
But what it doesn't mean is when you have a yes,
When your body is calling you towards something,
Pulling you towards something,
Or your intuition is waking up and what creeps in is doubt,
Fear,
Judgment,
Blame,
Rejection,
Resentment.
I could go on.
When all of those things begin to creep in,
They come from our past experiences or our expectations of the future,
But when you really sit in the present,
You will feel your yes.
And when you move toward it,
Even if it's a baby step toward that yes,
You're saying yes to you.
You're saying yes to your soul.
You're saying yes to experiences,
Experiments,
Expressions.
You will learn.
You will grow.
In this way,
Saying yes is a radical act of self-love.
In order to hear your yeses,
You get to get into closer relationship with your body,
This temple of your soul.
You get to allow yourself to play on the playground of your senses,
To explore what it feels like when your body is asking for a yes.
It's exciting,
Because when you feel that yes,
And you know it's true,
A real yes,
And you have the opportunity to move toward it,
Even if it's a baby step,
And that is magnificent.
So,
Think about what you've been wanting to say yes to.
Think about what it is that's calling your name.
Get a sense of that which is calling you.
Now,
Bring your awareness to it right now.
You might want to close your eyes,
Allowing your awareness to fully take up space within that thing,
That choice,
That decision,
That movement,
That action that you've been wanting to say yes to.
And breathe into it,
Inhale into that possibility.
And exhale out through that possibility.
Inhale in through that possibility,
Through that whisper.
And exhale out through that possibility.
Give it a pulse with your breath.
Give it life with your breath.
Give it a heartbeat with your breath.
And letting that go,
Just begin to notice what sensations are happening in your body.
Can you feel what energy is present?
Is there an emotion that is bubbling up?
Feel what's present for you now.
Maybe you'll find that that thing is not really a yes.
Maybe it was born out of fear,
Or maybe you'll find that it truly is a yes that your soul is calling for.
Let the sensations grow and get curious.
Feel into each sensation in your body and releasing that.
You might want to open your eyes,
Look around your environment,
Your space.
Is it truly a yes for you?
And if it is,
Saying yes is a radical act of self-love.
One of my favorite things to contemplate right now is discernment.
And being able to discern where my wants are coming from.
And I always find the best way to drop into my discernment is to breathe into it.
To breathe into the choice I'm about to make.
To breathe into the quiet within me.
And to begin to feel what sensations are there.
Those sensations speak to me.
So yes,
Saying yes is a radical act of self-love.
When that yes is a true and real yes.
When it's coming from your soul.
And when we find ourselves face-to-face with that yes,
We have the power to move in that direction.
We have the power to claim it.
We have the power to clear the fear,
The doubt,
The blame,
The shame,
The judgment.
We have the power to recognize it,
To use our discernment,
And to say yes.
So thank you so much for listening today.
