In this sensuality practice, we'll be tuning into the sensations of our clothes against our skin to effortlessly ignite a deeper sense of connection and embodiment. As you bring more awareness and presence into your life, your feelings of anxiety and overwhelm will decrease.

Hey,

It's Kristen.

Today I'm going to share a practice to help you really get in touch with your body and the presence of each moment of your day.

If you enjoy this practice,

I think you're going to love my course.

It's called Everyday Sensuality.

OK,

So let's just take a moment together to drop into the connection with the clothes on your body.

Close your eyes,

If that feels comfortable,

And start breathing at a rhythm and a pace that's perfect for you now.

Just allow yourself to arrive fully in the present moment.

Bring your awareness to the center of your head and collect your own energies.

And just clear your mind in preparation to engage your senses with curiosity and openness.

So breathing into your belly,

Relaxing your jaw,

Feeling your feet.

Now it's time to feel your clothes resting on your body.

Start at your feet on the floor in your shoes.

Are your shoes tight?

Are they roomy?

How much cushioning is there between the bottom of your feet,

The soles of your shoes,

And the floor?

Are your shoes tighter at the point and looser at the heel?

Are your ankles free?

Or are you wearing boots?

In what way do they hug your ankles?

And now go ahead and move up and notice the texture of the fabric against your legs.

Pay attention to how it feels.

Is it soft,

Rough,

Smooth,

Textured?

And what's it feel like around your waist?

Is it riding at the perfect point of your waist,

Or is it lower on your hips?

Could your belt be loosened,

Or does it want to be tightened?

Right now,

We don't have to do anything.

I just want you to start noticing any areas of tightness or discomfort,

And consider what adjustments you can make to feel more comfortable.

And if your eyes have been closed,

I'm going to invite you to open them now so that we can start to get into the practice of awareness as we're walking through the day.

So now bring your awareness to the clothes on your torso,

On your back,

On your shoulders,

On your arms.

Find an area that is hugging you,

And just notice it.

And now using this exquisite awareness that you have,

Find another area of your clothing,

An area that's loose.

And again,

Just continue to feel the textures and make notes.

And now I just want you to look at your clothes from the inside out.

What if your skin could look at your clothes?

What if your pores could look at your clothes?

And just for fun,

And with a sense of playfulness,

Imagine your clothes are glowing.

They're a beautiful glowing extension of you.

These are your sacred garments.

This is how you're bringing your regal self through the world.

It may be a day that these sacred garments are very comfortable,

Very loose,

Very soft.

It may be a day that they're tight in some places and representing a different part of your personality.

I just want you to remember that this practice doesn't require any special time or effort.

That's why I asked you to keep your eyes open and simply bring your awareness to the present moment and allow yourself to fully experience the sensations of your body.
