Hello,
And welcome to Simplicity.
Enough is enough.
I am so grateful you're here.
This is an invitation to reconnect with yourself,
Not by doing,
But by listening.
Today we explore Simplicity,
Not as restriction,
But as relief.
A soft remembering that you don't have to keep adding,
Fixing or striving in order to be well.
This meditation is part of my Flow to Wellness collection,
A reflection of my own journey of healing,
Listening and learning how to be well.
May this offering support you as you arrive at this place,
Not as an ending,
But as a deepening.
Finding a comfortable place to land,
Seated or lying down.
Allowing your body to feel supported.
Take a moment to notice the surface beneath you,
The space around you.
Begin to breathe in and out through your nose,
Slow and steady.
Simply arriving here is enough for now.
Simplicity is often misunderstood as doing less or having less,
But the body experiences simplicity differently.
Simplicity is what remains when the unnecessary falls away,
When effort softens,
When noise quiets.
It's not about giving things up,
It's about no longer carrying what was never yours to hold.
Simplicity creates space.
Space to breathe,
To feel,
To listen,
To live.
You don't need to simplify your whole life today,
You only need to notice what it feels like to rest in enough.
For a long time,
I thought wellness required more.
More information,
More effort,
More discipline,
More trying.
But healing showed me something quieter.
What supported me most wasn't adding more,
It was letting go.
Letting go of urgency.
Letting go of comparison.
Letting go of the belief that I had to be constantly improving.
As layers fell away,
Something simple remained.
Breath.
Presence.
Trust.
And the quiet knowing that this moment,
Just as it is,
Was enough.
As we move into the meditation,
Take a moment to get even more comfortable.
Continuing to breathe in and out through the nose.
Closing your eyes or softening your gaze.
Allowing the body to be at rest.
Allowing the breath to flow with ease.
Breathing in,
Receiving this moment.
Breathing out,
Releasing what no longer needs your energy.
No effort,
No forcing.
You might imagine setting something down,
A weight,
An expectation,
A story about how things should be.
Notice the space that opens when you stop holding it.
There is nothing you need to reach for.
Nothing you need to add.
This breath is enough.
This body is enough.
This moment is enough.
Let yourself rest here,
Not becoming,
Not arriving somewhere else,
But simply being.
Now allow the body to rest here,
Not doing,
Not fixing,
Just being.
Notice where the body meets the surface beneath you.
The quiet sense of support.
The feeling of being held.
If the mind begins to wander,
That's ok.
Gently return your attention to the breath.
Again and again.
This returning is the practice.
If it feels supportive,
Gently remind yourself,
I am enough.
I have enough.
This is enough.
Let the words land and then fade.
Rest here for a little while in the simplicity of breathing,
Of being,
Of allowing.
Nothing needs to be added.
Nothing needs to be improved.
You are already here,
Resting in stillness.
Begin to notice the breath again.
The gentle rhythm of the inhale and the exhale.
Feel the subtle aliveness within the body.
When you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
And take in the space around you.
Simplicity is not the absence of depth.
It is the presence of what truly matters.
May you carry this sense of enough with you as you move forward.
May you trust what remains when the noise falls away.
And may this quiet knowing continue to guide you as you live your very own flow to wellness.
