Hello,
And welcome to Flow to Stillness.
My name is Colleen,
And this practice is called Making It All Sacred.
This is your invitation to pause,
To breathe,
To listen,
To return to the quiet space within.
Let this be a time for stillness,
A time to reconnect with your breath,
Your body,
And your own inner wisdom.
I'm so grateful you're here.
Gift yourself whatever you may need to feel supported in this moment.
A blanket,
A cushion,
A soft place to land.
Place your phone on Do Not Disturb,
And if available,
I recommend using headphones for the best experience.
When you're ready,
Let's begin.
Take a moment now to arrive,
Noticing the sacred happenings all around you,
And within.
The golden hush of sunrise,
The stillness of twilight,
The warmth of the first cup of coffee cradled in your hands,
The breath of wind across your skin,
The scent of something blooming just beyond sight.
Even now,
Sacredness is whispering,
Through sight,
Scent,
Sound,
Touch,
Through this breath,
Through this moment.
You don't have to seek it,
You only have to notice.
Let this next inhale be an invitation to remember,
And this exhale a soft surrender into presence.
Closing your eyes gently if they aren't already,
Let your breath begin to slow,
Softening the space within and around you.
Drop your shoulders.
Relax your jaw.
Soften the space between your eyebrows.
Unclench your hands.
Let your body know it is safe to be here.
There is a sacredness to this life,
Not just in the grand moments,
But in the quiet ones.
Not just in ceremony,
But in every breath we take.
Today,
We remember what we already know,
That everything is sacred.
Let's begin with the body,
This beautiful vessel that carries you through every season of life.
With tenderness,
Bring your awareness to your feet.
Feel their connection to the earth beneath you.
These feet have walked you through joy and sorrow,
Through ordinary days and life-altering moments.
Whisper silently,
Thank you.
Now bring your awareness to your legs,
Your knees that bend,
Your hips that carry the weight of your being.
Breathe into this space with gratitude.
Your belly,
The soft center where breath rises and falls,
Where life was once sparked and nurtured.
Let your breath rest here.
Thank you.
Now the heart,
The sacred drum beating without your asking,
The wellspring of your love,
Your grief,
Your longing.
Let your breath wrap gently around your heart.
Feel what is present here.
Hold it.
Honor it.
Make it sacred.
Bringing your attention to your hands,
These hands that hold,
That create,
That comfort.
Hands that have touched the faces of those you love.
Hands that have clutched in fear and opened in surrender.
Thank you.
Now the eyes,
The sacred windows through which you see the world,
Sunlight filtering through the trees,
The smile of someone you love,
Your own reflection growing,
Changing,
Softening.
Thank you.
The nose that breathes in the scent of rain,
Of flowers,
Of someone dear.
Let even your breath become a sacred act.
And your voice that speaks your truth,
That says I love you,
That sings when you forget to be afraid.
Thank you.
Every part of you,
This entire life,
Is sacred.
Not because it's perfect,
But because it's yours.
You don't need to change a thing to make it sacred.
You only need to notice,
To honor,
To say thank you.
Let this breath be sacred.
And this one.
And this one.
Now rest here in the stillness.
Let your breath be your altar.
Let your body be your temple.
Let your presence be your prayer.
My voice will be quiet for a little while.
Rest here in the stillness.
Begin to return gently,
Reconnecting with your breath.
Feel the air moving in and out through your nose.
Feel your body supported by the earth beneath you.
Bring gentle movement into your fingers and toes.
Shrug your shoulders.
Maybe take a stretch if that feels good.
Let your awareness widen now,
Noticing the space around you,
The sounds,
The light,
And the life within you.
You are walking a sacred path,
And every time you remember,
Even for a moment,
You shift everything.
And when life gets loud,
When the world feels heavy,
Return here,
To this moment,
To your breath,
To the quiet within.
Take one more sacred breath together.
Inhale and exhale.
Take a moment to honor the stillness you've created.
Let it ripple outward into the rest of your day or night.
Let it guide your choices,
Your breath,
Your way of being.
May you be well.
May you trust your own inner wisdom,
And may you make it all sacred again and again.
