Hello,
And welcome to Flow to Stillness.
Today's practice is called The Quiet Within.
This is your invitation to pause,
To breathe,
To listen,
And to return to the quiet space within.
Let this be a time for stillness,
A time to reconnect with your breath,
Your body,
And your own inner wisdom.
I'm so grateful you're here.
Gift yourself anything you may need to feel truly supported.
A blanket,
A cushion,
A soft place to land.
I recommend placing your phone on Do Not Disturb,
And if available,
Using headphones for the best experience.
When you're ready,
Let's begin.
We spend so much of our lives reaching outward,
Looking for signs,
For guidance,
For some voice to tell us what comes next.
But the soul does not shout.
It waits,
Patiently,
Lovingly,
Beneath the noise,
Beneath the roles we play,
Beneath the stories we tell.
There is a place inside you,
Untouched by the world,
A place that remembers.
In this meditation,
We return to that place,
Just you,
Resting in the quiet,
Bringing your awareness to your physical body.
Release your jaw.
Drop your shoulders away from your ears.
Let your belly be soft.
Relax anything that feels tight,
Releasing your grasp on the day.
Begin to notice your breath moving in and out through your nose,
Slowing the breath down,
Finding its own rhythm.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Again,
Inhale,
Filling up with everything you need,
And exhale,
Letting go of anything you no longer wish to carry.
Let your breath be your guide inward,
Your anchor to the present.
Now bring your awareness to your heart center.
Imagine a soft light glowing there,
Warm,
Steady,
Familiar.
This is your soul,
Your still,
Small voice,
Your inner knowing.
It does not need to explain or convince.
It simply knows.
You don't need to search for it.
You only need to listen.
With each breath,
Imagine this light growing a little brighter.
Allow yourself to rest in its warmth.
Ask gently,
What do you want me to know today?
My voice will be quiet for a few minutes.
Listen now for any soul wisdom or guidance.
Begin to feel the breath again.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest,
The air moving around you,
The earth beneath you.
Gently move your fingers and your toes.
Shrug your shoulders.
Take a stretch if that feels good.
Slowly blink your eyes open,
Allowing your awareness to expand,
Taking in the room around you,
The sounds,
The space,
The light.
It is my hope that you have connected with something sacred within yourself.
A voice that does not shout,
But always speaks the truth.
As you move through the rest of your day or night,
May you carry this truth with you wherever you go.
May you be well,
May you trust your own inner wisdom,
And may you always trust the quiet within.
