We begin today's meditation by finding a comfortable position.
Allow your eyes to gently close.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And a long,
Easy breath.
Let's do that again.
Take in a slow breath.
And imagine that you are breathing in a sense of calm.
Now we allow that breath to easily flow out.
And as that breath flows out.
.
.
It takes with it any tension.
Breathing in a sense of calm.
Releasing out tension.
Let your shoulders soften.
Relax your jaw.
Feel the support of the surface beneath you.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
Nothing to do.
Simply allow yourself to arrive here.
In this moment.
Imagine that every breath that you are taking in is creating a little more space.
Inside of your body.
Space for healing.
Space for comfort.
Space that allows peace.
To move in.
Now bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Imagine a warm golden light.
Gently touching your scalp.
This light is filled with kindness.
This light is not here to fix.
Or to force anything.
This light is here.
To bring you a sense of calm.
A sense of peace.
It's simply here.
To send love.
Now imagine this light begins to flow through your forehead.
Around your eyes.
Crossed your cheek.
Your jaw.
As this light flows into these spaces,
Notice if there is any tightness.
If there is,
Simply say.
I see you.
Allow the light to continue to flow through your neck.
And across your shoulders.
Many of us carry the weight of responsibility here in this space.
The weight of caring for others.
The weight of life's expectations and experiences.
Imagine this weight becoming lighter.
Maybe not disappearing.
Just becoming easier for you to carry.
Now bring your awareness to any area in your body.
That has been asking for your attention.
Perhaps a joint.
A must all.
Maybe an organ.
A place that feels tired or uncomfortable.
One that might feel tight or heavy.
Without judgment.
Gently place your awareness in this space.
Imagine.
You can sit beside this part of yourself like a loving friend.
And ask.
What would you like me to know?
Imagine sitting next to this part of you.
And asking these words.
What would you like me to know?
And then we listen.
There is no right answer.
Perhaps a word came.
A feeling.
An image.
Perhaps there was simply silence.
Trust whatever arises.
Come back to this space and ask.
What do you need from me?
And again,
We simply listen.
What do you need from me?
And perhaps this part of your body needs rest.
Maybe this part needs movement.
Patience.
Forgiveness.
Trust.
Or simply your awareness.
Imagine wrapping this area in that warm golden light.
The one that was filled with kindness.
And we see every cell receiving nourishment.
Every cell remembering its natural wisdom.
And we continue to share with our body.
Thank your body.
Thank you for carrying me.
Thank you for heading in.
A direction.
That gives me purpose.
Thank you for healing in your own perfect way.
Thank you for all that you continue to do for me.
Now imagine this golden light expanding throughout your entire body.
Flowing through every muscle.
Flowing through every organ.
Every bone.
Flowing into every cell.
Like thousands of tiny lights.
Awakening.
Your body remembers how to heal.
Your body remembers how to find balance.
Your body remembers what it feels like to experience peace.
Take a moment to rest.
And feel this.
And as we prepare to return.
Place one hand over your heart.
Feel that heart beating within your chest.
Feel the rise and fall as your breath flows in.
And repeat.
I am listening.
I am caring for myself.
I trust my body's wisdom.
Healing is unfolding within me.
And with your hands still resting on that beautiful heart.
Set an intention as you move forward.
Set an intention,
Maybe to come back to the heart.
Maybe to come back to the body.
Maybe that image of sitting next to any areas of heaviness or tightness felt good to you.
Come back to that space.
Maybe there were words that I shared that resonated with you.
And you want to come back and use those kind words.
Maybe you'd like to come back and listen.
Listen to what the body has to share with you.
Set the intention to come back to your body.
Namaste.
