Welcome,
This meditation are for my dears that have a pitta constitution.
There are times in my life when my strong emotions rise up.
Times when I respond sharply and I trigger easily.
Times when simple events might anger me.
I know this is my pitta becoming unbalanced.
This can happen when the demands on me become too much.
When my life gets too busy or when I'm not creating balance in my life.
When I have forgot to create time for fun and relaxation.
In these moments,
I can find relief by creating a breath that is calling.
One that helps to refocus me.
Let's do that now.
With the tip of your tongue gently touching the roof of your mouth near your front teeth.
Gently draw your breath in.
You notice this breath will flow past the outside edges of your tongue near the corners of your mouth.
As you do this,
That breath comes in feeling cool.
Visualize this cooling breath flowing in.
Feel it.
Visualize this cooling breath flowing into all of your cells.
Let it flow into your body as if bathing them in a cool relaxing wave of calm.
Take in a few breaths.
Now relax back as if resting on to a light fluffy cloud.
Imagine or pretend that you are being held in a beautifully fluffy cloud.
And as you lie back,
This cloud lifts you up,
Upwards towards the sky.
And as you rise up,
You leave behind all your worries.
You leave behind your to-do list.
You get to just enjoy this beautiful fluffy cloud.
Allow yourself to lie back.
Allow this cloud to lift you up towards the sky.
In this moment,
You are high in the sky,
Way above the world.
Rest here for a moment,
Light and free.
Rest here floating high above the earth,
Leaving behind all of your to-dos.
Here you are free.
Relax here for a moment,
Feeling light.
Know that you can come back to this meditation as often as needed.
When life gets so busy with demands,
And you notice that your emotions are rising up,
And they feel a little too strong,
A little too sharp.
Come back.
Come back to the light fluffy cloud.
