Hello and welcome.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth.

Let your shoulders drop.

Let your jaw soften.

Allow yourself to arrive,

Here and now,

In this quiet moment.

Away from the noise and the lists and the expectations of the season.

For the next few minutes,

There's nothing to do,

Nothing to fix.

Just you,

Your breath and a sense of calm waiting to rise within you.

I invite you to bring your attention to your breath,

Noticing its gentle pace.

There's no need to change it.

Just watch it move in and out like gentle waves on a calm shore.

With each inhale,

Feel your body gathering ease.

With each exhale,

Let go of the rush,

The to-dos,

The pressure,

The noise.

Now gently bring awareness to your body.

Notice your feet,

Grounded and steady.

Your legs,

Supporting you.

Your belly,

Soft and expansive as you breathe.

Your chest,

Rising and falling like the rhythm of the season's peace.

Your shoulders,

Relaxing a little more with every breath.

Now,

Imagine yourself stepping outside into a quiet winter evening.

The air is cool and crisp.

Soft lights twinkle in the distance.

Snow,

Or maybe starlight,

Gently settles all around you.

You can feel the world slowing down.

In this stillness,

Everything is okay.

You breathe and the air feels fresh,

Renewing,

Kind.

As you walk slowly,

Imagine a warm light glowing in your chest.

With every breath,

It grows stronger,

Golden,

Steady,

Calm.

This is your inner peace.

It's always been there,

Beneath the noise and hurry.

You just needed to return to it.

Let that light expand until it fills your whole body.

Calm,

Centered,

Clear.

You are grounded.

You are grounded.

You are enough.

You are present in this moment.

Silently repeat these words to yourself,

Or just let them wash over you.

I slow down and breathe.

I am calm in the midst of it all.

Peace begins with me.

Feel those words settle in your heart.

Take one more deep,

Slow breath in.

And sigh it out completely.

Notice how your body feels now,

Softer,

Steadier,

Lighter.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Carry this calm with you as you move through the season,

Remembering you can always return here.

To your breath.

To this peace.

To yourself.
