Welcome,

My name is Kathy and I'm one of the teachers on Insight Timer.

I'm glad that you can join me for this morning motivation meditation.

Take a moment to find a comfortable position,

Sitting upright or lying down.

Let your eyes close or soften your gaze.

Take a deep breath in through the nose and slowly exhale through the mouth.

Let your body settle.

You're here,

You've arrived in this new day.

Begin to notice your breathing,

Steady and natural.

With each exhale release sleep,

Tension and yesterday's worries.

Feel your chest rise and fall.

Notice the gentle rhythm of being alive.

If thoughts arise,

Smile at them and gently return to your breath.

Now bring to mind something you're grateful for this morning.

It could be the sunlight,

Your health,

A loved one or simply the opportunity to begin again.

Let gratitude expand in your chest like a warm light.

Say silently to yourself,

I am thankful for this new beginning.

Today is full of possibility.

Feel that energy anchor you into the present moment.

Ask yourself softly,

What kind of energy do I want to bring into today?

Perhaps it's calm,

Confidence,

Kindness,

Focus or joy.

Whatever word arises,

Breathe it in deeply.

On the exhale,

Imagine sending that energy into the day ahead.

Infusing your actions,

Words and thoughts with it.

Picture yourself moving through the day with ease.

See yourself greeting people with warmth.

Handling challenges with strength.

Staying centered and confident no matter what comes.

Notice how light and empowered you feel.

Clear,

Capable and inspired.

Take one last deep breath in and exhale fully.

When you're ready,

Bring gentle movement back into your body.

Wriggle your fingers,

Roll your shoulders and open your eyes.

Carry this grounded motivation with you into your day.

I am ready.

I am capable.

I'm awake to the possibilities ahead.
