Melt into the fullness of the moon with this relaxing, ocean inspired meditation. Connect with your body, breath, waves and moon as you relax and visualize. This meditation can be practice any time, not just during the full moon.

Transcript

This is a meditation for the full moon.

Bring yourself into a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

And close your eyes.

In this meditation,

If you would like to work with the angelic energies,

You can call in your angels now for assistance.

By saying,

I call upon the healing angels,

My guardian angels,

And the energies of the full moon to be present and to connect with me now.

Taking a few deep breaths,

Growing your breath in and out of your body.

Begin to picture yourself outside at the beach,

Standing by the ocean.

It is nighttime,

And the sky is illuminated by the full moon.

The silver rays of the moon shine down all around you,

And the water of the ocean takes on this silvery glow as well.

You begin to walk toward the water and dip a toe into the ocean,

And you are pleasantly surprised by the warm temperature.

You begin to walk into the ocean with each step feeling the warm,

Salty water lapping against your feet,

Your ankles,

And your calves.

Continue walking deeper into the silvery water as it swirls around your thighs,

Your hips,

Your torso,

And your chest.

Pausing for a moment to just rest in the warmth of the cleansing water and admire the full moon shining down upon you.

Basking in the loving embrace of the full moon,

It seems to be bigger and closer to the earth than you have ever seen it before,

And its energies are palpable.

Open up all the pores in your skin to receive the moon's positive energies,

And feel every cell in your body rejoicing in this healing light.

Take a breath in,

And on the exhale,

Releasing any tension that you may be holding in your body and saying quietly to yourself,

I feel safe and relaxed now.

Sense the water around you providing healing through the silver moonlight,

And feel your system being balanced.

Through the energies of the moon,

Begin to go for a swim or float on the water,

Basking in the infinite energy that is the ocean,

Being reminded of the infinite nature of the universe,

And of all the possibilities of your own infinite being.

Let the dazzling white light of the moon penetrate all darkness,

And feel your stress,

Anxiety,

Worries,

Or fears dissolving,

Leaving you with a deep sense of peace and harmony.

Rest and relax in this tranquil state,

Giving thanks to the moon and the water for surrounding you and for healing you.

When you're ready,

You'll start to swim back until you can stand again,

Walking,

Stepping out of the water,

Feeling calm and refreshed,

Taking one final glance at the beauty of the moon,

At the vastness of the ocean,

And thanking it again for the healing that you've received.

Feeling yourself gently return to your body,

Feeling your feet on the sand,

Allowing this visualization to fade away,

And bring this peaceful feeling into the rest of your day or your evening.

When you're ready,

Just taking a few breaths,

Growing your breath in and out of your body.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes,
