Welcome to easing stress with kindness.
I'm so glad you're here.
This is a gentle space for you to pause,
To reconnect with your breath,
And to soften some of the tension you might be carrying,
Even just a little.
It's a reminder that we all deserve moments of care,
Of calm,
Of kindness.
We all carry stress differently.
Sometimes it hums quietly beneath the surface,
And other times it rises like a wave that crashes over us.
And you may be feeling pulled in many directions,
Or simply tired emotionally or physically.
And you are doing your best.
So let this time be a gentle act of care for you and your nervous system.
Just be here in this moment.
Let's just take a breath now.
In.
And a gentle breath out.
Find your comfy space,
Warm and cozy.
Gently close your eyes and allow your body to settle.
I invite you to place your hand gently over your heart or your belly,
Whichever is the most comforting.
And we'll take three soft breaths together.
Inhale gently through your nose.
Exhale softly through your mouth like a quiet sigh.
Inhale and feel the breath moving in and exhale,
Letting your shoulders drop.
Again,
Inhale kindness and exhale tension.
This breath is a soft landing.
It's a quiet friend.
And even a single breath can shift your whole state.
So let your breath become a little slower.
A little deeper.
A little kinder.
Good.
And just resume your natural breathing pattern now.
Soft and gentle.
Now we'll journey inwards for just a few moments.
So I invite you to bring to your mind a place that brings you peace.
It could be a quiet forest.
A warm sunlit room.
A shoreline with gentle waves at your feet.
And just see yourself there now.
Begin to notice the details around you.
The air,
What does it smell like?
The light,
Is it soft or golden?
And what do you hear?
A breeze,
A bird or water flowing?
Feel the surface beneath your feet or your body.
Let it support you.
Let it hold you.
This place is safe.
And this place,
It warmly welcomes you.
And the best part is,
It lives inside you.
So you can return to it anytime.
It is yours.
So let's just rest here for a few quiet moments.
Wonderful.
Your comfort place within.
And now just ask yourself gently,
What do I most need to hear right now?
Maybe it's,
I am safe in this moment.
It's okay to rest.
I'm doing the best I can.
Maybe it is another phrase that arises for you.
Something more personal.
And whatever it is,
Say it softly to yourself.
Feel it in your chest,
Your body,
Your breath.
And speak to yourself like someone who deeply loves you.
Because you really do deserve this kind of care.
And let that kindness settle into your being right now.
Close your eyes as we begin to take a peaceful inner journey.
One that will really help to release stress and welcome ease.
So just see yourself walking through a gentle forest path.
The ground beneath you is soft,
And the air is fresh.
Light is filtering through the leaves above,
Casting dappled patterns of gold and green.
And as you walk,
You come upon a quiet stream.
You kneel beside it,
Dipping your fingers into the cool flowing water.
Feel the stress of your day washing gently from your hands.
And the water is carrying it away,
Just like leaves floating downstream.
You stay here for a moment,
Listening to the flowing stream.
Now slowly you rise and you continue walking,
And soon the trees open to a clearing.
A warm sunlight spills over the space like a beautiful golden blanket.
And now you feel its light,
It's pouring onto your shoulders,
Your face,
Your chest.
And with each breath,
This warm,
Soothing light fills you.
From the crown of your head all the way to the soles of your feet.
It's warm,
It's ease,
It's peace.
You see yourself lying down in a sunlit meadow.
Feel the support of the earth beneath you as you just take a moment to rest.
You are safe,
You are held,
You are enough.
The air around you is beginning to shimmer.
It is filled with kindness,
It is filled with softness,
It is filled with healing.
Stay here,
Just soak it in,
Just rest,
Just be,
Be in this moment.
Now as you walk through this beautiful meadow filled with colorful flowers,
You come to a sturdy tree.
You wrap your arms around it.
You feel the comfort,
You feel the support,
You feel the nourishment,
You feel the healing.
And the roots from this tree are now beginning to weave gently around you,
And it is offering you grounding and strength.
You feel your body soften,
You feel your body melt as you rest by this living tree.
Stay here for a moment,
Soaking it in.
Wonderful.
Now when you're ready,
Slowly and gently,
Just begin to return to the room around you.
Feel your feet,
Your hands,
Gently roll your shoulders and give yourself a gentle stretch.
And just notice your breath now,
Maybe it is a little softer than before.
Just feel it slowly flowing in,
And slowly flowing out.
Gently open your eyes,
And remember that stress may visit,
But it doesn't define you.
There is always a gentle place within your heart that you can return to.
Even one simple breath at a time.
And may you carry softness with you today,
And may you remember that peace begins with a single breath.
Breathe in.
Feel the peace,
The stillness.
Breathe out.
Letting go.
So thank you for being here.
You are deeply appreciated.
Namaste,
My friend.
