Hello and welcome to this morning gratitude practice.
Today we will be taking some time to reflect upon our life.
I'll invite you to consider the many blessings and the abundance that we're surrounded by and that maybe we sometimes forget to appreciate.
So feel free to enter your meditation position.
Take a moment to relax,
Release and ground yourself into your body.
And now we'll just begin with three deep cleansing breaths.
So breathing in and letting go.
And breathing in and letting go.
And last time breathing in and letting go.
Let's begin now by taking a moment to appreciate our bodies,
Our breath.
How our physical bodies constantly are at work to support us without us even asking.
And each breath,
Each heartbeat,
Your blood is flowing,
Your stomach is digesting,
Your body is there for you always.
Let's just take a moment to reflect and thank our bodies for everything that they do for us.
And now I'd like you to consider where you are.
Are you in a room,
Sat on a cushion,
Maybe covered by a blanket?
Take a moment to cultivate some appreciation for where you are.
The roof over your head,
Everything you have to keep you warm and dry.
And the space you have to just be yourself.
You're Kassandra.
And now i'd like you to consider your work,
Your education or maybe some activity or project you've been engaged in.
Reflect on the support this brings,
The engagement,
Maybe even excitement.
Take this job or project for being part of your life.
Take this job.
And now think about your friends,
How they love and support you and you love and support them,
How great it is to have them in your life.
And your family,
How much they mean to you.
Sometimes we don't realise how important someone might be to us until we consider life without them.
So take some moments now to cultivate some love for your family.
And finally,
Let's just take some moments to appreciate the opportunity to sit and appreciate what a beautiful thing to do.
So you can thank yourself for that.
And thank you for meditating with me here today.
Have a wonderful day.
