The Atom

This is a guided meditation to help you feel connected to the universe and all the magic that it contains. It helps bring you closer towards the awareness of a oneness, a unity in the universe by helping you to feel the magic within a single atom. It starts with focussing on the breath in order to bring the mind to stillness and in order to help us connect to that stillness from where we can gain insight into the true nature of things.

Keep the eyes closed.

Start to observe the breathing.

Focus on each in-breath.

Focus on each out-breath.

Feel the breath entering into the lungs as you breathe in.

As you breathe out,

Feel the breath leaving the lungs.

Breathe in,

The rib cage expands.

Breathe out,

The rib cage contracts.

Breathe in.

Feel the sensations as the breath enters.

Breathe out.

Feel the sensations as the breath leaves.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Engage the mind onto the breathing.

Allow for the thoughts to drift away.

Realizing how the thoughts do not bring peace.

How the breath brings peace and stillness deep within.

The thoughts just float away and your concentration,

Your awareness,

Moves more and more to the breath.

Breathe in.

Feel the breath entering.

Breathe out.

Feel the breath leaving.

Breathe in,

The rib cage expands.

Breathe out,

The rib cage contracts.

You continue to observe the breath.

Feeling the breath enter.

Feeling the breath leave.

Allowing for more and more stillness to come to your mind.

Allowing for awareness to grow deep within.

Breathe in,

The rib cage expands.

Breathe out,

The rib cage contracts.

You continue to observe the breathing.

Silence grows in the mind.

Stillness grows in the mind.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

You start to enjoy the sensation of stillness that grows within.

As you focus on the breathing.

Breathe in,

The rib cage expands.

Breathe out,

The rib cage contracts.

Nothing but stillness grows deep within.

You continue to observe the breath.

The mind becomes stiller and stiller.

Breathe in,

The rib cage expands.

Breathe out,

The rib cage contracts.

And as the mind is focused on the breathing.

You take your awareness to a light that exists deep within yourself.

Deep within your heart.

You feel this light expanding throughout your body.

And as it does,

It shows you that you're made up of atoms,

Molecules.

They're deep within your cells.

But that the nature of these atoms within the molecules that make up your cells,

Your organs,

The physical body.

The nature of every atom essentially is pure energy.

The electrons that flow around the neutrons,

The protons.

All these particles are essentially energy.

And every single part of your physical body is made up of these atoms that are made up of pure energy.

And seeing yourself still as pure light,

Just in your mind's eye you start to look around.

You look at every object.

Every object that moves or that's still.

And you see how every one of these objects is made up of the same.

Of molecules which are essentially atoms.

Which are essentially pure energy.

The entire world is made up of these atoms that are essentially pure energy.

And you start to see how we're all connected.

How we're all essentially pure energy made up of these atoms.

If we take our awareness away from the heart and to the mind,

We start to see the entire world as being made up of something solid.

But when the awareness comes back to the heart,

We see through the light within us how everything is made up of this pure energy.

How the atoms within each and everything are simply energy.

We just start to look at that energy deep within every object.

Everything is made up of this energy.

Every plant,

Every animal,

Every rock,

Every stone.

The soil that contains minerals within it is made up of these atoms of pure energy.

The sea,

The water,

Even the sun so far away.

The moon so distant.

The stars.

They're all made up of these atoms.

This pure energy.

And essentially this energy is the same.

We perceive it differently as it takes different forms.

But essentially every atom of every element is made up of energy.

And that energy is within all of us.

You look deep within your own body now.

You see the light there as you see yourself being made up of the pure energy,

Of the elements.

The atoms,

The particles within them that are all essentially pure energy.

And you see how the atoms that are within you were once within the stars.

The iron within your blood was once within a star.

Nearly millions of light years away.

But at the same time the atoms,

The energy within you,

Was a few moments ago inside the plants that grow on the surface of the living breathing organism that is the earth.

Those plants entered your mouth,

The atoms,

The energy within them,

And formed part of your body as they entered in.

As you ate.

That energy filled you.

And in every action that you do,

You return that energy back to the earth,

To the world,

To the universe.

That energy connects you.

It's inside you,

Inside each and every star,

Inside every plant,

Inside every being,

Every animal,

Every rock,

Every stone,

Every insect.

It's inside the plants that we eat,

That form our bodies.

And it exists within light,

Within the light that's all around us.

We are all essentially pure energy,

And the entire universe,

If you look closely,

Is this same energy.

There is no you,

No me.

We're all connected by the energy within us.

However we perceive that energy,

If we perceive it as atoms,

The atoms are made up of that pure energy.

That energy,

As light,

Is deep within all of us.

If you can train your mind to see how everything is essentially energy,

You can see that we are all nothing but a oneness.

A oneness that is this energy that makes up the entire universe.

The light within,

The stars,

The moons,

Within the earth,

The soil,

The plants,

The animals,

The insects,

The seas,

The oceans,

The fish,

They're all made up of this energy that's within the atoms.

And you look closely now at the atoms,

You see how the energy of the electrons spins around the energy of the nucleus,

The energy at the centre.

And we are all nothing but pure energy.

There's nothing but stillness within us.

We are all made up of light.

We're all made up of pure energy.

There is no separation.

No separation between you,

The rocks,

The mountains,

The seas,

The oceans.

No separation between you and the moon,

The sun,

The stars.

No separation between you and the food that you eat,

The plants that grow around you.

No separation between you and the trees,

The flowers,

Nature.

No separation between you and the entire world around you.

Every single being around you,

Whether human,

Animal,

Insect,

They're all made up of these same atoms,

The same energy.

To think of a hierarchy is to misunderstand life.

To see how we're all part of a oneness,

How we're all made up of the same energy,

Is to understand life.

To understand how we're all one.

There is no separateness.

We're all made up of this light,

This pure energy.

There only ever has been a oneness and there only ever will be a oneness.

If you can see that there's no separation,

Just changing of forms of this energy,

You can see that the present moment is the only thing that ever exists.

This energy,

This oneness is always here.

The atoms just combine differently,

Form different molecules,

Change forms.

Everything's an interplay,

But the present moment is all that exists.

This energy is never created,

Never destroyed.

It just changes forms constantly.

It's all around us.

If you look carefully,

You can see that everything is light.

Everything is pure energy.

There is a oneness that is all life.

No you,

No me,

We're all simply part of each other.

Everything is simply light.

And you feel this light,

You feel this energy,

You see and feel how we're all connected.

How there's light within each and every one of us.

Everything is pure light.

We just need to look with the right eyes.

If we can see ourselves as being made up of energy,

Of pure light,

Then we can see easily how the entire universe is made up of energy,

Made up of the same pure light.

No you,

No me,

No separateness,

No separate objects,

No separate stars,

Moons.

We're all made up of the same energy,

The same oneness.

There's light within us and all around us.

Everything is a oneness.

Everything is connected.

No you,

No me,

No separate sun,

Stars,

No separate beings.

The atoms within you that are made up of pure energy were once within every part of the universe,

Once within other beings,

Once within the plants that we eat,

Once within the stars.

The same atoms just move and change.

The same energy is within all of us.

There is only ever a oneness that exists in this universe and it's inside each and every one of us.

No you,

No me,

No separate matter.

We're all made up of these atoms,

These tiny stars that are filled with energy that whizzes around.

It's within the core of our very being,

Deep inside us.

We're all just one.

We're all just light,

Just energy,

Pure energy,

The energy of goodness,

The energy of love,

The energy of peace,

Of stillness.

It's within all of us,

Within the rocks,

Within the stars,

Within the moon,

Within the seas,

Within the clouds,

The same atoms,

The same energy.

Just keep changing forms,

But the energy is the same,

The oneness is the same.

No you,

No me,

Just the energy of pure love that connects us all,

That binds the entire universe together.

Forces of attraction,

Electrons around protons and neutrons.

The force of attraction that binds the whole universe together is what makes us up.

If you look closely at the atom,

You'll see that we're all connected through energies of attraction.

The only thing the universe can allow for is oneness.

No destruction,

Just changing of forms.

Energy can never be destroyed,

It just changes from one form to another,

Just flows constantly.

The only thing that ever exists is this oneness,

And this oneness exists in this moment in time.

That is the only moment that ever exists.

The rest of time is just a flowing of these atoms,

This energy into different forms.

It's just a play of the forms,

A game of the forms,

But all of this happens at the present moment in time.

There is no future,

No past,

Just a changing of the game,

Of the atoms,

The molecules,

The energy,

This energy that constantly changes.

No you,

No me,

Just pure energy,

The energy of light and love that makes up the entire universe.

There's just light within us,

This is all that we are,

Pure light.

You see the entire universe now as this pure light.

No you,

No me,

Just the light,

The energy that binds us all.

You continue to see this light,

This energy all around.

Everything is oneness,

Everything is connected.

Everything is pure light.

Deep within your body,

Deep within your heart exists this pure light,

This connection,

This oneness.

This is who you truly are.

You see light all around now,

Energy all around.

You rub both palms together,

You generate warmth in the palms,

You take the bottoms of the palms over the eyes.

You slowly move the palms away,

You start to see the universe,

It's just being made up of this light,

This pure energy.
