Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Yogi Brian.
Find a spot laying down on your back.
Keeping the body straight.
Knees slightly bent.
Maybe some support on the back of the head.
Don't strain the neck.
Palms either facing down or facing up and allowing the eyes to softly close.
Bring in the awareness to the breath.
Your mind might be all over the place thinking about yesterday or thinking about tomorrow.
It's totally okay.
Just invite your mind to the body.
Just invite your mind to the breath.
Just invite your mind to the present moment.
All you have to do is breathe.
Noticing the breath.
Awareness to the inhale and the exhale.
Allowing yourself to arrive.
All you have to do is breathe.
And noticing where the body is touching the ground.
Noticing where the body is touching the earth.
And feeling this grounding energy into the earth.
Knowing you're safe.
And all you have to do is breathe.
Noticing the breath smoothing out on its own.
Giving yourself permission to just be.
And allowing your body to return to its natural state.
Its natural state of relaxation.
Bringing the awareness to the body.
Noticing the entire body scan the entire body.
And any tension you feel just allow that tension to melt away.
Any of that tension that you feel that you can observe allow it to melt away into the space.
Each and every breath you take your body relaxes even more and more.
Each and every breath you take floods the body with relaxation.
Now I want you to use that great imagination you have.
And I want you to visualize a cord at the base of your spine.
And this cord is sent directly to the center of the earth.
And this cord attached to your body releases all that excess tension.
All your worries.
All your anxieties.
All your frustrations.
All the things you have no control over.
Send it straight down this cord at the base of your spine to the center of the earth.
See all the tension.
All the anxiety.
All the worries.
All the frustrations.
Send it down this cord at the base of your spine.
And notice how the body feels.
Search the body.
Find all that tension.
Find all that anxiety.
Find all that worry.
Find the things you can't control.
Find the things you can't control.
Find all that anxiety.
Find all that worry.
Find the things you can't control.
Sometimes they hide in the body so find it.
Search the body.
And then send it straight down this cord out of the body to the center of the earth.
So so Taking one last scan of the body.
Making sure you found any of that excess worry,
Tension,
Frustration.
Anything you can't control.
Search.
Find it.
Sometimes it hides.
And send it straight down that cord at the base of your spine.
Feeling the body lighter,
Freer,
Calmer.
And feeling a sense of peace.
And now I want you to notice in your right hand,
You have the biggest pair of scissors.
The biggest pair of scissors you can visualize,
You can see.
I want you to take these big scissors and cut the cord at the base of your spine.
And once you cut that cord at the base of your spine,
You see that cord dropping down,
Down,
Down to the center of the earth.
And you feel this lightness in your body.
You feel this release.
Feel this sense of freedom.
And you notice your breath is lighter,
Smoother.
And you may even start to smile.
You may even start to smile in your heart.
Just feel it in your body.
Feel the sensation.
Feel this freedom.
And you can stay here as long as you want in the silence.
Feeling this freedom from the sensation in the body.
