Welcome to your life purpose meditation.
In this meditation,
I'll be guiding you with some prompts.
It's okay if you don't hear everything I say.
The important thing is to relax completely in the present moment.
Let's begin now.
Start your breath in your belly,
Move up to your ribcage,
And finally into your chest.
Exhale and squeeze the breath out of your body.
Exhale again,
Let all the air out.
Let's do that three more times.
Breathe in.
And exhale.
Exhale again.
Breathe in through belly,
Ribcage,
Chest.
Exhale completely.
Exhale any remaining air out.
That's good.
Now breathe normally in and out through the nose.
Many of us have this idea that our life purpose is singular and career driven.
The truth is,
We can have multiple purposes in life,
And sometimes our life purpose has nothing to do with our career.
Today I invite you to put down your armor and stop the search.
It's okay to stop searching for your life purpose for a moment.
Take a breath in,
And on the exhale,
Let the search go.
Your life purpose is not something you have to find.
It's already within you.
The way to access it is to become still and aware of the present moment.
Let's practice that now.
With every breath you take,
Feel your muscles relaxing further and further.
Let your jaw relax.
Let your tongue drop from the roof of your mouth.
Let your lips part slightly.
Let your belly relax so you can take even deeper breaths in and out through your nose.
Wiggle your toes and let your feet totally relax.
Now you are in this moment.
You have the power to uncover your life purpose.
What if your life purpose is not found in what you're doing,
But in how you're doing it?
Your life purpose is how you show up in the world every single day.
It's how you brush your teeth in the morning,
How you treat the person who cut you off in traffic,
How you tend to a loved one,
And how you tend to yourself.
What are the qualities of your purpose?
How are you meant to show up in the world?
No one can answer this but you.
Social conditioning has told you that your life purpose is in XYZ,
But the truth is only you know what your purpose is.
Living your life purpose means you feel aligned like you're following your North Star.
By staying in the present moment,
You can trust that the unfolding of your life will reveal more and more of your purpose to you.
Every season of life is different.
In this season,
Your purpose may be self-healing and self-care.
In the next season,
It may be business-related.
In the next season,
It may be family-related.
It's all unfolding perfectly.
Your life is unfolding perfectly.
Say this affirmation silently to yourself.
I trust the unfolding of my life.
I trust the unfolding of my life.
I trust the unfolding of my life.
We have to embrace uncertainty if we are devoted to living our purpose.
Remember there is nothing wrong with feeling uncertain,
Uncomfortable,
Or scared when following your life purpose.
The unfolding of your life will take you to places you've never been before.
Of course that will feel scary.
Your only job is to stay within the presence of this moment and this moment and this moment.
Let's practice that again.
Breathing in,
Feel your body connected to the chair or to the ground.
Notice your belly rise as you breathe in and fall as you breathe out.
Take a full body breath in and release through your mouth.
Observe all the cells in your body pulsing with energy.
Notice any other sensations you may be feeling right now.
What makes you feel most alive?
What is calling to you right now?
Without any judgment,
Follow that intuition.
That is your purpose right now.
Come back to this practice anytime you need to ground your energy and remind yourself of your highest purpose.
Thank you for practicing with me.
