Root Chakra Meditation Sit comfortably and close your eyes.
Take a very deep breath in and exhale completely.
Take a moment to connect to the Earth that nourishes and nurtures,
Supports us.
The Earth,
Through her abundant magic,
Has put all of us in her creation.
And as a result of her grace,
We thrive in this environment and get to benefit and rejoice in all of her gifts.
The air we breathe,
The water we drink,
The food we have access to,
All of her animals and plants and fellow beings,
A part of this magnificent mass born of her power.
Let's take a moment just to recognize within yourself the privilege that it is to be a part of this world,
Especially for those of us who have access to clean air,
Water,
And abundant food.
Allow yourself this moment to recognize what a privilege that is.
A privilege that many of us take for granted,
But for many people in the world,
Because of economic instability,
Because of environmental distress,
Because of systematic oppression,
Because of poverty,
Might not have access to so many of these resources that we do take for granted.
We acknowledge those souls,
And we also acknowledge the ways in which our planet is often exploited because of agribusiness or corporate interests,
Ignorance or greed,
That so much of our environment has been compromised as a result.
It is up to us as citizens and children of the Great Mother to live more mindfully and sustainably,
So that we can contribute to the healing of this planet,
So that we can nurture and nourish her in return,
So that we can revitalize our globe through the choices that we make,
While simultaneously taking steadfast actions,
So that all beings everywhere have access to clean air,
Clean water,
Healthy,
Organic food.
This is our responsibility.
This is our right.
This is our privilege.
Place your palms into Namaste.
We call in the God of our own unique understanding,
Creative consciousness,
Your higher power,
Mother Earth.
May this practice be healing,
Understanding.
May we all release the emotional attachments and toxins,
So we can be of service to others by being more mindful.
We dedicate this practice to the Mother Earth and the ways she has allowed and expressed our souls.
May we make choices in our own wellness and family,
So that our contribution to this planet serves a world that is healthy and abundant for many years to come.
May the vibration of our hearts reach beyond our body and out into the world and to those who need our light.
