Welcome.
Thank you for joining and creating space in your day to cultivate some stillness and silence.
As we get ready to begin our meditation,
We'll focus on growing our inner sight today,
Envisioning a deep surrender of what no longer serves us,
Thus creating space for new miracles to come in and blossom.
Begin by making yourself comfortable in your seat with your spine long and steady.
Feel free to prop yourself up if you need to,
Or make any adjustments to ease your comfort.
Allow your hands to rest effortlessly in your lap or on your knees,
With the palms facing up for a little more receptivity.
In order to release anything at all,
We first need to welcome it in.
If you haven't already done so,
Begin to gently close your eyes and find your breath.
Take a few long,
Deep breaths in and let them go.
Bring your attention to your physical body first,
Gently taking notice of your sitting bones rooting down into your seat,
Your belly softening to the rise and fall of your breath like a gentle miracle,
Your heart proudly open as it allows the chest to expand and the collarbones to smile wide,
Your back body and spine supporting the foundation of your physical body,
This temple that we call home.
And then bring gentle notice to your head and face and allow a wave of softness to ease any lines of tension.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
Settle right here.
As you settle and soften ever so deeper into your physical body,
I am going to guide you into a visualization meditation.
Allow each cue that I illustrate to come naturally without any strenuous thinking.
Leave any images or messages with an open heart as they are meant for your healing.
Imagine yourself in a forest,
Standing on a cleared trail.
In front of you,
The path leads and continues as tall trees rise into the sky above.
Taking your surroundings,
The soft earth beneath your feet,
How does it feel?
The sights around you of the trees,
Foliage,
Animals scurrying about,
How does it look?
The aroma of this forest,
How does it smell?
Begin to gently walk down your path.
You're not in a rush.
There is nowhere to be or a destination to reach.
You have all the time in the world in this forest.
It's your time,
Your present moment.
You are safe.
Continue taking in the sights along your path as you walk,
Hearing the sounds of the forest life as it's coming alive with natural beauty and wonder.
As you walk,
Gently place both hands in your pockets.
In both pockets,
Feel smooth pebbles against your fingers.
How many can you feel?
Are they heavy or light?
Is one pocket heavier than the other?
Just notice.
Each pebble represents something we are ready to let go of.
A belief,
An opinion,
A past hurt,
A heavy memory,
A person.
Each pebble has taken you through life and has taught you invaluable lessons from which to grow.
Some pebbles represent a darker time in your life,
Others a simpler time.
Know that each one has come into your life for a reason and by its presence has molded you into the divine being that you are right now.
A divine being that you will continue to be.
Take one pebble out and bring it up to your face.
Notice any coloration or shape of the pebble.
Roll it around in your fingers and notice what it means to you.
What does this pebble represent?
Bring the pebble down to your heart and from this place of your most genuine love and compassion,
Thank it.
Thank it for what it has taught you,
Given you,
Rewarded you with.
And then gently let it fall to the ground.
The earth upon which we walk grants us not just our footing to move along our path,
But space in which to shed the weight that keeps us anchored.
You are ready to let go.
As you continue gently walking on your path,
Take out more pebbles from your pockets.
See them,
Welcome them,
Thank them and then let them go one by one until there are none left.
There is no rush.
You are exactly where you need to be.
알تا مع Once you've released the last pebble to the ground,
Take a deep breath in and a deep,
Full breath out.
Notice the lightness in your pockets and the lightness of your being.
Smile.
Gently turn your head back to see your pebbles laying on the ground,
Lining the path on which you walk,
Just like the trees.
Your path in life is paved by surrender just as much as receptivity.
There is divine beauty in what we've let go of.
Smile at your courage,
Your fortitude,
And your vulnerability.
Take a few more steps forward along your path.
In front of you,
See an opening along the trail where the trees have receded and there is a clearing through which you can walk.
There is a bright white light in this opening as you walk towards it.
You can begin to feel the gentle warmth of it on your skin as you get closer.
It's illuminating,
Cleansing,
Healing.
Step one foot and then the other into this clearing and into this light.
You are ready to walk into your day,
Into your life with new space.
Fill this space with whatever and whoever makes you wholesomely,
Unexplainably happy.
And then take that happiness into the world and share it.
When you're ready,
Begin to open your eyes.
May you walk with ease today and every day.
