We use a yoga counting technique to become centred; one relaxed breath for each joint of the fingers of one hand. Touch your thumb to the first joint of your forefinger and at the end of the exhalation, move to the next joint, and so on. Twelve relaxed, comfortable breaths. We use the Buddhist practice of loving kindness, first for ourselves and then out into the wider world. Rest in the loving, kind energy.
