A Time Of Transition, Navigating The Inbetween Worlds
by Tabitha
Do you find yourself leaving your old world and not yet walking into the new world? In a liminal space where the new has not yet appeared but you’ve lost the security of the old, familiar world. Courageous souls who are building the new world, need tools to navigate the void. Here are some of mine. Love and respect to Joe Dispenza for inspiration. Photo by Alessio Soggetti on Unsplash

Let's find a comfortable position for our body.
And take a few deeper breaths as we have a little fidget.
Arms and legs somewhere they can be comfortable and still.
Let's inhale,
Lengthen our spine,
Make plenty of room for our breath,
Our organs and our belly.
And as we exhale,
Soften our shoulders.
So we can be tall and yet relaxed.
And a few deeper breaths as we bring our attention inwards.
And slow ourselves down,
Come into that alpha state by relaxing our body.
So we'll start at the top of the head and slowly allow everything to soften.
And the scalp,
Forehead,
Softening.
Muscles around our eyes and our jaw.
That wave of softness and relaxation flowing into our neck and our shoulders.
And leaving everything in neutral,
Comfortable and still.
Our arms and our hands resting,
Relaxed.
Relaxation flowing down the back of the body and the front of the body.
Hips and buttocks.
A little softer.
Our legs,
Our knees,
Ankles and feet.
In a neutral position they can be comfortable,
Softer,
Still.
And as we exhale,
We'll bring our attention inwards.
And as we exhale,
We'll bring our attention inwards.
And as we exhale,
We'll bring our attention inwards.
And as we exhale,
We'll bring our attention inwards.
And as we exhale,
We'll bring our attention inwards.
And as we exhale,
We'll bring our attention inwards.
And as we exhale,
We'll bring our attention inwards.
It doesn't matter.
What matters is we immerse ourselves in the feeling of being somewhere wonderful.
Seeing what we see there.
Feeling how we feel there.
And enjoying it.
Feeling more relaxed.
Mentally and physically.
And I'm going to count now from ten down to one.
And we're going to let all our remaining tension,
Concerns go for a little while.
Anything that's bothering us,
We can put it on the shelf just for the few moments of our practice.
We can attend to it when we're finished.
Ten.
Nine.
Eight.
Surrendering completely all our concerns coming into the present moment.
Seven.
Six.
Five.
Four.
Taking another long,
Smooth breath.
Being completely choosing to be at peace in this moment.
Three.
Two.
One.
And just breathe.
We find ourself in a time of transition.
A liminal space.
Seeing what we see saying goodbye to the old world.
Old ways of doing things.
And creating new ways of doing things,
But they're not here yet.
And in some ways we're in a void.
Either in one world or the other.
And let's imagine that now however our mind creates it.
My dog is snoring.
I can imagine the unformed energy around us waiting to crystallize into new shapes.
New forms.
New ways of being.
Thinking and doing.
Waiting for us to shape it.
Between worlds we have left our familiar old world.
Which was our comfort zone not because it was comfortable but because it was familiar.
We knew we could get by because that's how we'd been raised.
We knew the rules and what to do,
What not to do.
And that's not true anymore.
We don't know what the new world is going to look like.
We have hopes and dreams.
And while that can be incredibly exciting at times,
At other times oh my goodness it's frightening.
And we don't know what to do.
So if you are resonating with that,
If you're experiencing that I honour you for being courageous enough to step out of the old and to want to build the new.
And I also offer to be gentle with yourself in that fear.
When we're in the void,
In the fear of the void we need tools to orientate us to the new world so we don't get dragged back into the old world.
And the ways we want to leave behind.
For many years many of us have been learning how to release our fear and to sit in our fear in our discomfort.
So I'll remind you now when the fear arises and it will.
We can honour it and know that it's even good because it means we're leaving behind the familiar.
And it's okay to feel fear of the new.
It's completely natural.
Hold ourselves gently with love when we experience it.
But we don't want to stay in that fear too long because our biology turns to stress and we seek safety and familiar in the old.
So once we've sat in our uncomfortable feelings respected them felt them we can reorientate ourselves to the new,
To the horizon and where we want to go.
Present moment awareness That's our first key tool.
Am I projecting?
Is my fear because I'm projecting something that hasn't happened yet?
What's it like here and now?
Present moment.
Root chakra.
Our body in the present moment and we can breathe into the root chakra.
Breathe some energy,
Some prana into that area.
Here and now am I okay?
Bring your attention back here as much as you can as often as you can where all your power is.
The time and only place you can make change anything.
We also need a vision.
So this is third eye.
Let's imagine the breath and we're drawing the cobwebs out of the third eye chakra revitalising it with our intention.
That vision of the life we wish to create.
Hold it dearly,
Hold it close and revisit it often,
Every day.
And not just to imagine it but to feel how it feels when we're there.
Almost as if we're time travelling there.
To feel the joy,
The satisfaction of being and doing that person that you are becoming.
So let's practice that now.
Visualise what you're doing how you're feeling.
Hopefully you're smiling because it feels so good.
Cultivate those feelings of joy happiness abundance,
Peace whatever it is for you.
Your biology almost leads you there.
You make different decisions in this state of openness than you do in the fear.
Fear means old choices and safety.
Peace,
Security means you're happy to make new decisions.
Try new things.
And that's how we get new things.
We need a strong self-awareness of when we've fallen into fear.
When we're craving our old secure world.
When we're not afraid of what's coming.
When we're not afraid of what's coming.
When we're not afraid of what's coming.
When we're not afraid of what's coming.
When we're not afraid of what's coming.
When we're not afraid of what's coming.

When we're not afraid of what's coming.
When we're not afraid of what's coming.
When we're not afraid of what's coming.

Feel it and live it now.
Feel it and live it now.
We build new neural pathways We build new neural pathways which develop new habits which develop new habits and then we develop new life.
And then we develop new life.
So with each thought of that vision we build it in ourselves.
We build it in ourselves.
And then it gets built around us.
And please know And please know when you do this for yourself you take everybody with you.
It has to start inside It has to start inside each individual.
But you lift the whole as you lift yourself.
A few more breaths A few more breaths of that new world.
And I wish you a safe journey And I wish you a safe journey to your destination.
So we'll take a few deeper breaths So we'll take a few deeper breaths as we prepare to transition back as we prepare to transition back to our external present moment.
We're going to start to wiggle our fingers and toes and mobilise our body wrists and ankles arms and legs having a little stretch and slowly returning to the external world and slowly returning to the external world Thank you for practicing with me.
Thank you for practicing with me.
