Close your eyes down as you turn your attention inward.
And connect your awareness to right here,
Right now.
Notice if you need to shift or move,
Allowing your body to get comfortable.
Begin to notice how you feel today,
Right here,
Right now,
Without any judgment.
Just notice.
Where are you at today?
Relax all the muscles from around the eyes and bring gentleness into your entire face.
Notice your attention on breathing in and out through your nose.
Maybe adding in the mantra,
I am on the inhale and exhaling my breath.
I am my breath.
I am my breath.
Release your tongue from the roof of your mouth.
And the jaw muscles.
Feel your chest rise and fall with each breath.
And without forcing it,
Gently nudge your way into a longer inhale and a much longer exhale.
Drop your shoulders.
Bring your attention into your heart as you feel your body melt into this moment,
Allowing your entire being to soften.
Notice yourself getting rooted down into the earth.
Feeling supported where you are,
Right now.
Feel this connection and support underneath you.
Notice how the body breathes on its own without any real effort.
Breathing into the wonder of the rise and fall of your chest.
And into the deep feeling of gratitude for the body.
Sense your heart opening to the miracle that is your body.
Recognizing all the wonderful ways in which it functions.
And all the amazing ways in which it allows you to connect with your world.
Notice how precious and how extraordinary your breath and your body are.
Feel your body softening and opening into this awareness.
Now I'd like you to become aware of what brings you joy in life.
What is it that gets you excited about living?
Maybe it's a person,
A place,
An activity.
What is it for you that brings you joy?
Now complete this sentence to yourself silently.
What brings me joy is.
.
.
Imagine yourself being joyful.
Complete this to yourself,
What brings me joy is.
.
.
Take a moment here to recognize how joy feels.
How does joy feel when you experience it?
What kinds of thoughts do you have when you're in a state of joy?
How does your physical body feel when experiencing joy?
Recognize and remember this state of joy.
Rest your whole body in this happiness.
Try with this bliss.
Now,
Explore here for a moment.
What else brings you joy and happiness in life?
Embrace this joy in your life as you inhale the word embracing and exhaling the word this.
Inhaling,
Embracing,
Exhaling this.
Now,
I'd like you to turn your attention to how you bring joy and happiness to others.
How do you spark smiles in others?
What actions or behaviors do you take part in to cultivate joy in the world?
Enter this here for a moment in the quiet space of your mind.
What actions can you take to bring even more joy to others?
Give yourself time here to further sink into the concept of joy in your life until my voice returns.
It's time for our orchestral function.

Bring some movement into your hands,
Your wrists,
Coming up to your shoulders.
Maybe moving into some shoulder rolls from one side to the next,
Keeping the jaw slightly open.
Coming back to center and slowly opening your eyes.
