For this sleep meditation,
I'll invite you to find a comfortable position.
Just lying down.
And as you lie here,
Take a deep breath in.
And full exhale out.
Letting go of your day.
Letting go of any thoughts currently in the mind.
And giving yourself permission.
To fully latch.
In this space.
If you haven't already,
I invite you to gently let the eyes fall shut.
Tuning inwards.
And start to find your breath As you breathe in,
Allow the ribcage to expand,
Taking in air.
And as you exhale,
Letting go of everything.
Allow the body to melt into the bed even deeper.
Continue to deepen the breath.
Reaching all the way up to the crown of the head.
And a nice long deep exhale out.
And every time you breathe,
Just notice the quality of the breath Notice how the abdomen rises and falls.
Notice how the eyelids are soft.
Shoulders are relaxed.
Lower body is lengthened giving yourself full permission.
To rest here.
There's nothing left to do.
Nowhere to be.
Other than right here.
Giving yourself some time to recharge.
Giving yourself some much needed rest.
You've done all you could for today.
And maybe it may not be complete just yet.
But maybe it's enough.
Or today.
Acknowledging your effort.
Technology.
The work that you put in today.
No matter.
What it may have been.
RJ's all look different.
Some days we accomplish more.
Some days we accomplish less.
But it doesn't make.
Any day more worthy than the other.
Allow the temples and the space between the eyebrows to soften.
Creating more space within the forehead within the thinking part of the brain.
And allow this area to rest.
Relaxing the jaw.
The sides of the neck the tops of the shoulders.
Relaxing the ribcage allowing the chest to melt into the bed.
Softening the hip the lower body,
The legs.
The legs that work so hard every day taking us to places allowing us to stand tall Send a full breath throughout the whole body.
And I'm nourishing breath out.
Continue to deepen your breath as you soften the body.
Continue to relax the fingertips,
The toes,
The muscles.
There is no more need to grip or to clench or to hold on to anything.
Maybe there is space.
Maybe there is safety and permission to really let go and to release.
Taking a few more rounds of breath here and notice how these few rounds make the body feel.
Perhaps you can let go a little bit more.
And just notice what's going on for you at the moment.
As we come to the end of this meditation.
I will leave you right here today.
Thank you so much for listening to this meditation and I wish you a great night ahead.
