Start by finding a comfortable position,
Whether it's seated or lying down.
Begin to feel the floor beneath you,
Supporting you,
Holding you.
Take a deep inhale in,
And a nice,
Long,
Full exhale out.
We'll do that one more time.
Taking a deep inhale in,
And a full exhale out.
Allowing the breath to flow,
Allowing the body to settle.
Noticing the thoughts in your mind come and go.
Remember,
The thoughts in your mind are just thoughts.
When we cling on to them or attach to them too much,
Sometimes we cause ourselves a little bit more stress than we need to.
Notice the quality of thoughts in your mind.
Notice the amount of thoughts in your mind.
And with each exhale,
Gently let the thoughts pass through.
As you feel the thoughts in your mind holding less weight,
Notice how it feels in your body.
Maybe you feel more relaxed,
More at ease.
Maybe you feel calmer.
Maybe the headspace is sharper.
Really allowing yourself to feel,
Feeling the body,
Noticing the mind,
The thoughts.
Take another deep inhale in through the nose,
And a long,
Full exhale out.
Another deep inhale in through the nose,
And a full exhale out.
Now gently take a full body scan from the top crown of the head all the way down the spine,
Down the arms,
Down the hips,
Down the legs,
All the way to the toes.
And just notice where you may be holding on to tension,
Tightness,
A gripping sensation.
And see if you can gently allow those muscles to relax,
To ease off.
Allowing the weight of your body to sink down into whatever is holding you,
Completely relaxed and at ease.
Take another inhale.
Another inhale,
Deep,
Full,
And long.
And a nice,
Long exhale out.
Now I invite you to continue with this breathing pattern for as long as it serves you.
The recording has come to an end,
And I thank you for joining me today.
