Explore MeditationVivekadevi is a certified Ananda Yoga and Meditation Teacher E-RYT 500, with a background in 12 Step Recovery. She has many years of experience leading classes, workshops, and personal retreats on the power of yoga and meditation, combined with the 12 steps. Her warm and engaging style allows students to relax and dive deeply into the essence of yoga and 12-step recovery - discovering the joy and transformative power that each path offers - for developing a rich and meaningful spiritual life. She leads online courses, teacher trainings, and in-person retreats for Yoga and the 12 steps, a program she created, that weaves together the teachings and practices of yoga with the spiritual principles of 12-step recovery. In addition to this, she is the co-founder and former co-director of the Ananda Bay Area School of Yoga and Meditation, and has led several 200-hour RYT Yoga Teacher Trainings and 80-hour Meditation Teacher Trainings. Vivekadevi currently lives and serves in the Ananda Palo Alto Community as a Teacher, Minister, and Light Bearer with her husband James.
