Welcome to this meditation to heal your heart.
Knocking on your heart's door.
Welcome to your heart light healing moment.
In these next few minutes,
Allow yourself to stop.
All outside movements come to a halt.
All inner thoughts are sent gently aside.
In this next breath,
Close your eyes and begin to go within.
Travel in your mind through the layers of this and that until you arrive at the doorway to your heart.
Taking another slow,
Deep breath,
Knock gently and then open the door to your heart and step inside.
As your eyes become accustomed to the space,
Take the next breath to simply look around.
Observe the bits and pieces of your daily life as they come into view.
In the next breath,
Allow yourself to choose one or two that really have no relevance to you now in this moment.
Holding each one in the palm of your hand,
Blow that bit of fluff away as you might blow on a dandelion.
Watch as your heart lightens up with the removal of the old worn out stuff you really no longer need.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Look again and see if there are any other bits within your heart space that are not providing you light and joy in this moment.
These two,
If you choose,
Are picked up,
Held in the palm of your hand and blown gently into the wind,
Freeing up your heart to shine more brightly in this moment.
As you take the steps to bring more light to your heart,
Your whole being feels lighter.
Smile to yourself,
Taking another slow,
Deep,
Relaxing breath,
And give thanks for this opportunity.
Taking another breath,
You recognize this healing moment is coming to a close.
You resolve to return often and clear out the other bits and pieces of life's journey that do not serve a purpose in this now,
That do not add to your heart's glow.
And now,
Open your eyes.
Place your hands on your heart and notice how much lighter you feel.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
You realize that letting go may be as simple as this.
Pat your heart gently.
And in the next breath,
Be at one with the beat of your heart.
It beats for you.
