Allow yourself to close your eyes.

Take a nice,

Deep,

Slow breath.

And take another.

Allow yourself to imagine peace.

Allow yourself to imagine calm.

Allow yourself to imagine joy.

Allow yourself to imagine safety.

Allow yourself to imagine light.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Imagine from the top of your head down to your toes,

Energy flows.

Just the right amount.

Not too little and not too much.

Softening all the aches,

The tightness or tension.

Your body revels in this lightness.

In your mind,

All thoughts cease for the next few breaths.

And you sense an openness,

A spaciousness that you savor.

And finally,

In your heart,

You open to a sense of compassion and well-being.

You can feel that you are at peace within and you are committed to bringing peace without.

And as you take another,

Slow,

Easy breath,

Open your eyes and resolve to remember these sensations as you continue your day knowing you and all who you encounter.
