Hello and welcome to the Daily Insight.
My name is Vanessa Loder.
In today's meditation,
We'll be focusing on letting go of worry and allowing everything to be exactly as it is.
I'm wishing you a joyful and relaxing practice.
Sitting comfortably in a relaxed position,
Allowing your eyelids to gently close,
Starting to tune your awareness to your body and physical sensations.
Feeling the surface of the floor or the chair beneath you.
All the little places where your body is touching that surface.
Starting to tune in to the rise and fall of your chest or belly as you inhale and exhale.
With each inhale,
I'd like for you to visualize or imagine that you're inhaling a calm,
Peaceful energy.
And with each exhale,
Visualize or imagine or sense any way you can that you're releasing,
Letting go of any worries or tension or anxiety that you've been holding on to.
Inhaling calm,
Peaceful energy.
Exhaling tension,
Anxiety.
Inhaling relaxation.
And as you exhale,
Letting go of worry.
And as you do this,
You may even see a color or colors associated with it as you inhale this calm,
Peaceful energy.
Exhale,
Releasing any tension,
Any worry,
Any anxiety that you've been holding on to.
So,
Just for this little while that we do this today,
Have no problems and no worries.
Time enough for that later.
They'll always be there later.
But just for this little while that we do this today,
Have nothing to worry about.
So,
Enjoy the way that feels to not have anything to worry about.
And enjoy the way it feels to have relaxation moving through the body.
As the relaxation moves through the body,
If there are any tensions anywhere in the body,
They will flow right out.
Flow right out.
Let them go.
Let them go.
We don't need them.
We don't need them.
So,
Enjoy the way that feels to not have anything to worry about or to think about.
And enjoy the feeling of relaxation moving through the body.
And as you go about the rest of your day,
You'll continue to enjoy the feeling of relaxation and calm moving through the body.
If you notice yourself getting stuck in a cycle of worry or anxiety,
Simply take a few deep breaths,
Inhaling this calm,
Peaceful energy.
And with each exhale,
Releasing any tension or worry that you've taken on.
