This session is designed to be listened to while reclining or lying down in a comfortable and safe place.
This session will focus on the depth and quality of your sleep to support you in deeper uninterrupted sleep that will restore your energy levels each night so that you wake up well rested and full of energy.
Even though this program is about sleep,
Please try to stay awake while listening to the program.
We recommend listening to this at nighttime just before bed for optimum benefits.
Do not drive a car while listening.
If you haven't already done so,
Find a quiet place to lie down and relax and allow your eyes to gently close.
At first,
Just focus on your breathing and allow your breathing to be nice and deep and even.
Breathing from way in to way out.
Comfortable breathing.
A lot of meditation techniques and yoga focus first on the breathing because this is so important and it's relaxing.
This is the way within.
Visualize or imagine yourself with each breath inhaling the peaceful positive energy that is all around you.
And with each breath out,
Exhaling all the tensions and anxieties and aches and pains that you store in your body.
With each breath,
Let yourself go deeper and deeper and deeper into a relaxed,
Serene,
Tranquil state.
This is so healthy for your mind and for your body.
To relax.
To go within.
To feel the peace.
With each breath,
Deeper and deeper.
Relaxed.
Peaceful.
And calm.
Just for this little while that we do this today,
Have no problems and no worries.
Time enough for that later.
They'll always be there.
Later.
But just for this little while that we do this today,
Have nothing to worry about.
So enjoy the way that feels to have nothing to worry about.
And as you do this,
And as you focus on your breathing,
Relax all of your muscles and feel yourself going even deeper.
Just feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper into the bed.
Relax your facial muscles and jaw.
A lot of tension is stored in this area.
Relax all the muscles of your neck.
This area stores a great deal of anxiety and tension.
People with headaches from neck pain carry a great deal of tension in their necks.
Relax these muscles completely.
And now,
Relax the muscles of your shoulders.
Let them feel light,
Loose,
Completely relaxed.
People who walk around with the weight of the world on their shoulders have tightness and tension in these muscles.
Relax the muscles of your arms and of your back.
Both the upper back and the lower back.
Completely relaxing.
Relax the muscles of your stomach so that your breathing stays beautifully relaxed,
Deep,
Even.
And you reach a deeper and deeper level of peacefulness and serenity and relaxation.
An island of calm and tranquility.
And lastly,
Relax the muscles of your legs.
Completely relaxing your whole body now.
As your breathing stays nice and deep,
Relaxed and peaceful,
Feel yourself going even deeper.
If you think that we are now at a level of relaxation that can be defined as level A,
We can get to level B,
Which is twice as relaxed and twice as heavy and twice as peaceful as level A very easily by imagining now a beautiful light coming in through the top of your head and beginning to spread down your body from above to below.
Visualize or imagine this beautiful,
Powerful,
Healing light.
Glowing beautifully in the light,
You choose the color or colors.
This light is connected with the light above and around.
A divine light,
A powerful light,
A healing light because it heals every cell,
Every fiber,
Every tissue,
Every organ of your body,
Restoring all of these cells to the normal,
Healthy state.
Getting rid of illness,
Getting rid of disease,
Getting rid of discomfort,
Restoring to perfect health.
This is a deepening light because it will bring you to a deep level of peace and relaxation.
Allow yourself to go even deeper now,
Even deeper.
And remember now that this light has brought you to level B relaxation.
This beautiful,
Healing,
Deepening,
Relaxing light is filling every cell,
Every fiber of your body with beautiful calm,
Helping you to fall asleep with ease and sleep deeply,
Uninterrupted until it is time for you to awaken.
Focus on my voice,
Letting other noises and distractions only deepen your level even more as they fade away.
And we can now move ahead to an even deeper level of relaxation,
Level C,
Which could be 10 times more relaxed than level B,
10 times more heavy,
10 times more peaceful than level B.
By counting backwards now from 10 to 1,

Going deeper and deeper with each number back,

6,
5.
Further and deeper and deeper,
Letting go.

3,
Very,
Very deep.
So peaceful,
So calm and relaxed.

Nearly there.

Now at level C relaxation,
You are in a deeply relaxed state,
Very much at peace.
Now I would like for you to imagine the most beautiful place in the world,
What you consider to be the most beautiful place in the world,
Where there's no worries and no problems.
It may be the forest,
It may be the seashore,
It may be a meadow,
Whatever you consider to be beautiful and peaceful.
Can you find a place like that?
Wonderful.
Now notice what you are seeing.
Can you hear anything like the wind moving through the trees?
Maybe you smell anything,
Maybe the salt water of the ocean.
No worries in a place like that.
It's peaceful,
Where there are no worries and no problems.
You might want to imagine now,
Every night when you go to bed,
You take a journey to this place.
But this journey is an intense and almost magical journey that does something special for your body.
With the distance that you travel,
Your body recovers all of the energy that it needs.
The longer the journey,
The more energy you will gather and retain.
Our cells need time to retreat.
And like the top swing of a pendulum,
Which moves swiftly and then at the top of the arc,
It almost stops before descending again,
Its energy turned into its mirror image.
Like waves that crash on the beach also need to retreat to have the energy to roll forward again.
Imagine each night when you lie down to fall asleep,
You journey to the most beautiful place in the world.
But just remember that every bit of space that you move in during your journey,
Your body corresponds each step of the way by becoming more rested,
More rejuvenated.
To itself on a completely cellular level.
Each movement of that journey brings with it the benefits of rest where parts of the brain shut down,
Where serenity infiltrates your every cell.
This journey that your body will take from now on when you sleep does the same thing,
Again as the top of the pendulum,
The mirror image of energy,
Energy receding in order to swing again in its full potential.
And your life becomes a perfect arc.
Just like the waves that recede and crash.
Recede and crash.
We sleep deep without disruption and this journey will allow you to remember that at night when you fall asleep,
The journey visualization allows your body to move inward,
Deeper,
To almost curl into itself,
To find the inverse of your waking hours.
Again,
Every night from here on out,
Your body will find its perfect arc,
Allow it to gently and perfectly restore all facets of your body.
There is an area of your brain near the hypothalamus called the pineal gland.
It is about the size of a grain of rice and shaped like a pine cone.
The pineal gland does something very special.
It emits the important hormone called melatonin.
Melatonin pulses through the day and pulses high when the sun goes down to signify to your body when it is time to sleep.
Melatonin has antioxidant properties and does all kinds of cleaning and restoring while you sleep.
It's like the nightly cleaning crew that comes in and scrubs all facets of your body.
Try to visualize now the melatonin moving from your pineal gland through your entire body,
At just the right amounts,
At just the right speeds.
Use your intuition to guide you.
Melatonin has various loops of communication with other hormones in our body.
See how it mutates and changes for what it needs for perfect operation.
This sleeping journey will take us inward further and further and through deeper and deeper stages of sleep.
Every single night,
Getting to the depth that makes sense for you for ultimate energy the next day.
Deep sleep that channels and builds your energy in a perfect arc.
Remember that this depth of sleep is not contingent upon the length of your night's sleep.
You need only sleep a few hours and get the same benefit,
So you should no longer worry if you're not getting enough sleep.
Your mind-body power is now in control and you will find yourself with as much depth of sleep as you need,
Every single night.
Not dependent upon length,
But depth.
And waking up in the morning because of how deep and restored you feel from your deeper and high quality sleep,
It will become a completely different experience as well.
You might not even need your alarm clock.
You will wake up with a smile on your face,
Full of energy,
Feeling rested,
Refreshed and happy immediately.
Know that the restorative nature of deep and high quality sleep can change all facets of your health as well.
Every aspect of your endocrine system,
Your metabolism and levels of stress can now be better managed and balanced.
Imagine how this will improve your outlook,
Your mood and your feeling of self-empowerment.
You can even start to feel as young and successful as you want,
Ready to accomplish all the things you wish for in life.
Maybe even committing to yourself now that this is your new reality.
You are someone who sleeps perfectly well.
