Time Restored,
Chapter 7,
The Lines,
Autumn 2021 CE As Jenna read more of the book,
And they fell more in love with the area,
Jenna was really warming to the idea of finding a place to live around here that could accommodate Graham's school.
Ever the practical one,
Tim made Jenna more comfortable with this notion by coming up with short-term plans for their future.
They made up two personas,
That Jenna was working as a property finder for an expat who was coming back to the UK,
And that Tim was her architect.
This meant that they didn't have to give anything away about their incredible wealth.
A local estate agent in Tisbury was very helpful,
But had nothing on their books anywhere near the size they were looking for.
They did point them at examples of what they could look at,
Like exclusive apartments in the new Wardle Castle,
And a grand estate called Pithouse,
Which they thought was coming on the market soon.
They spent two wonderful days exploring Cranbourne Chase,
And simply loved the Hobus Hill in Shaftesbury,
Which everyone thought must be in Yorkshire.
Jenna made Tim drive her out of the Arch each morning,
And back through it on their return.
Each time she insisted on getting out of the car to check she still felt the same tingling.
If anything,
It was getting stronger.
She had also discovered the Arch was associated with the Beckford Arms,
And that guests could stay in it overnight.
They had already made plans to go back to Nottingham after the following weekend to tie up some loose ends.
The leaves were just turning colour as the summer surrendered to autumn,
And it turned out that they had no reservations for the accommodation in the Arch over the coming weeks.
Jenna block-booked it there and then.
The manager was pleased as punch,
But said they would have to move out before Christmas,
As it was already blocked out then.
They were moving to their next pub,
The Bradley Hare in Maiden Bradley.
Tim wanted to open the Tesla up again,
After driving at not much more than 30mph on narrow lanes,
And to get it charged up for their return journey.
The smart display pointed them down the A303 to a farm shop called Teal's,
With really modern fast chargers,
And with two of them currently untethered.
They headed there for lunch,
And on the way down had a call from Anna,
The property expert they met at the Savoy.
She asked them if they had any ideas of where they wanted to look.
We are in an area we love right now,
Said Jenna,
South Wiltshire and heading into Somerset.
We'd also like somewhere we could open a school,
Said Tim,
Without going into any details.
Let me get back to you,
Said Anna,
I'll do some digging.
When they arrived at Teal's,
There were indeed two chargers spare,
So Tim plugged in.
They walked around the back of the farm shop to the cafe,
And Jenna reported that she felt faint.
Tim grabbed her and took her to a bench at the edge of the car park,
So she could recover.
As the colour came back to her face,
Tim pointed to the wall of the building,
And said,
Is that what caused it?
Smile,
Your underlay line was painted in large bright coloured letters.
