Just for today,
Let go.
Let go of the tension in your forehead.
Let your jaw slacken and your shoulders drop.
Wiggle your fingers and release the tension in your forearms.
Flex your toes and let go of the tension in your forehead.
Flex your toes.
Do the same for your lower legs.
Just let any tension flow away from your calves and your shins.
Then scan the rest of your body for any stiffness or discomfort.
And let it go.
Just for today,
Let what is stale go.
On each in-breath,
Bring in fresh air.
And on the out-breath,
With your mouth slightly open,
Release what is stale.
Do that for seven in- and out-breaths.
Just for today,
Let unwanted thoughts go.
Bring your awareness to the centre of your brain.
And imagine you are looking at the back of your eyeballs.
Envisage thoughts as coming in and emanating from and swirling around the outer cortex of your brain.
Allow those that no longer serve you to seep out through your skull and to vaporise in the air around you.
Just for today,
Let go of the old ways.
What behaviours and patterns no longer serve you.
When they depart,
What will fill the space that they leave behind?
Just for today,
Let go of all limits.
And face the life that is limitful and full of limits with one that is limitless.
Just for today,
Let go of all limits.

Let go of the notion that life has to be hard.
Step away from what is draining you.
Remove all blockages and step forward into a life of ease and bliss.
Just for today,
Let go of the fears that bind you.
They have merely served to keep you safe.
Thank them and release them to the four winds.
Just for today,
Let go of all worries.
Let go of worrying about things you have no control over.
Let go of worrying about what might or might not happen.
And meditate on what can happen in your wildest dreams.
Just for today,
Let go of the notion that you have to be in control.
Take your hands off the steering wheel and coast for a while.
Let your soul lead and guide you.
Just for today,
Let go of your enslavement to the clock.
Seconds,
Hours,
Weeks and months are all man-made and do not exist in nature.
We made them up so we can run our modern-day society,
But as a result some of us have been ensnared and entrapped by time.
Be mindful that nothing beats to the second but the thoughts of someone watching the clock.
Just for today,
Let go of all resistance to love.
Open your heart to receive unlimited love.
Open it wider still to beam out infinite unconditional love for all.
Just for today,
Let go of the idea that it is down to someone else.
Each person on earth is capable of being the change.
Make a change today and drop a pebble in the pond of collective consciousness.
Then ensure you keep a quiet mind during the day so you can spot the ripples bouncing back at you.
Just for today,
Let go of the tendency to play it small.
Allow a bigger version of you to step into the world today and an even bigger version of you to step forward tomorrow.
Just imagine what the biggest version of you might look and feel like.
Just for today,
Let go of the notion that meditations conclude with an ending bell.
The bell you are about to hear as your eyes gently open is a starting bell for the rest of your glorious life.
