This is the latest guidance in the Just for Today series of visualisations. To know where we are going, it's good to appreciate where we have been and who is coming along for the ride. The other option of course is to allow the path to be shown to you.

Just for today,

Know where you are going.

Notice who is coming along for the ride.

Be okay with those you have left behind.

But stop now and again so they can catch up.

Just for today,

Appreciate where you have been.

Celebrate both the highs and the lows.

Remember the good along with the not-so-good.

And notice how both form the what and the why of who you are now.

Just for today,

Map out your journey ahead.

Only as far though as you can imagine.

Just have one or two waypoints planned.

Allow the third to show itself to you.

Just for today,

Only carry what you need.

Drop any unwanted baggage.

Travel light and travel smart.

Anything left behind can always be found again.

Just for today,

Pick up fellow travellers.

There is no need to travel alone.

Allow other souls to converge on your path.

You will know when it's time for paths to diverge again.

Just for today,

Take a break when you need it.

It's okay to stop for a while.

Refuel regularly.

Only move on when you are good and ready.

Just for today,

Remember to enjoy the view.

Keep your eye both on the path ahead and what lies either side.

Notice fleeting movements in the periphery.

Just for today,

Be reminded why you came to be.

If you are unsure why,

Just ask for a sign.

Be prepared for it to reveal itself in metaphor and when you are least expecting it.

Just for today,

Take both the high and the low road.

One option often missed is to take two or more options.

Who says you can't have it all?

You can have the cake and eat it.

And just for today,

Be okay to come back full circle.

Revisit old ways and pick up on old patterns.

Remember that the other option is to go nowhere and let the path come to you.

Tom, I smiled and chuckled with you throughout that one! Especially about the cake! I always wondered how the hell one could eat one’s cake if they didn’t already have it! Thanks for the guide to the new day’s adventure! Have a great one yourself! Donna

Another beautiful meditation Tom! Been working on slowing down and really appreciating all the moments in life. It’s amazing how much more you do really see when you look, listen and feel what’s around you. Thanks 💕🙏🏻
