The heart is both the wound and the medicine.

You are loved,

You are worthy,

You are enough.

This is the space that you enter,

In which healing is a part of the journey.

See that the way you sit reflects that openness of your mind and heart that will facilitate the healing coming your way.

We all have anxious hearts.

It is part of who we are.

It is part of human predicament that we take on by incarnating into this existence,

Into our body,

Into our senses.

In this meditation,

We sit together,

Pondering upon the mystery of our being in this world,

In this current situation.

And we begin with our breath,

Because breath is the first thing that you do coming into this world and will be the last thing before you leave.

It is your friend,

It is your constant companion when you feel great and also when you experience feelings of anxiety that we try to heal and build a new relationship with in this meditation.

So connect with your breath right now and see what is the story that your breath is trying to tell you.

Do you feel at ease?

Do you feel peaceful?

Or is there some form of resistance that you're experiencing right now?

And in this resistance,

There's a healing.

So allow yourself,

With courage,

Move towards it closer.

Perhaps you can feel it in your stomach,

Perhaps in your chest,

Throat,

Shoulders or,

Like myself,

Always hiding in the tension of my jaw.

Move your awareness there with curiosity,

Recognize it is a part of who you are and it is worth your attention.

We will all do it together,

Beloved,

You are worthy,

You are enough.

That's how you approach this place.

We all give you the courage to move there,

No longer resisting but welcoming the point of this meditation.

Feel free to take a deeper breath as a sign of release,

As a sign of healing,

As the sign that your body starts coming back to itself,

Nervous system relaxing,

Establishing the connection between brain and heart,

Communicating,

Adjusting,

Healing.

And see for yourself if you are ready to move towards your heart space,

Where so many emotions are being held.

See for yourself how it feels to move there,

To spend there some time courageously.

Perhaps you haven't been there for a while.

Perhaps you are afraid to touch that sore spot.

This is an invitation to do it on your own terms,

Knowing that you are supported,

You are loved,

You are worthy and you are enough.

That's the only way to approach your heart center slowly,

Tenderly.

So right now,

I'll give you a moment to explore as I'll stand by your side to hold the space and will bring you back when the time is up.

And now,

It is time to return.

Take the softness with which you approach the center of your heart and expand it to include your entire body.

Recognize that you just shown a tremendous courage to spend this time in that tender soft spot of your heart and that in turn will transform you and your day into you being more authentic,

Being more of yourself.

So with that in mind,

Shift your awareness now to your physical senses,

Starting with your vision.

Even though your vision is limited to brighter and darker spots in front of your closed eyelids,

I'm sure you can feel the softness that comes as your heart is tender.

In the same way,

Envelop your hearing,

The sound of the music,

The sound of my voice.

Briefly touch upon the senses of taste and smell,

Even though not present in your perception.

And finally,

Expand towards the sense of touch.

Your feet resting on the floor,

Your hands on your lap,

Your sit bones,

Your chest and your shoulders,

Your neck and your head connecting with the space around you,

Connecting in a much softer,

Tender way that represents the state of your being right now.

Very slowly and gently,

Tilt your head to the left,

Feeling muscles in your neck stretching and flexing.

Turn your head to the right,

The other side of your neck,

Back to the center and joyfully take one more deep breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
