Let's close our eyes once again.

We'll feel the breath.

Let me welcome yourself as you are this morning.

Pretty much that's the essence of meditation.

You welcome yourself as you are.

Whatever is coming or arising within you,

You bring loving awareness.

With an attitude of acceptance,

With an attitude of surrender.

Because the other option is resistance to what is.

And that's pretty much what suffering is made of.

It's made of resistance toward it.

And then you can even observe the resistance.

In what ways do I resist?

Can you be with silence?

Without labeling.

Can you just be without labeling things?

Can you release the use of words?

Most of our resistance happens with words.

What happens when you abide in silence?

Can you be with silence?

I don't know if you've ever noticed that your sense of self often is tainted by words.

When there are no words.

Who are you?

When there are no concepts.

What are you?

What are you?

We're always perceiving our existence with the filter of the mind.

What happens when you release the filter?

The conceptualizing mind.

What is love?

What might we be?
