Hello and welcome.
My name is Tina Stinson and I want to thank you for joining me in this meditation.
To begin,
Let's get into a comfortable position.
Make sure it's a spot that you love to sit in,
Where you feel happy and comfortable.
I love to sit outside in nature.
This is the perfect space for me.
Let's take a few deep breaths to get ourselves relaxed.
Breathing in through the nose,
Deep breath expanding your belly.
Fill your belly up and then your chest and then hold at the top.
And now exhale through your mouth as you release all tension in your body.
One more time.
Let's breathe in.
Deep breath filling the belly.
Then expand the chest.
Hold at the top.
And then release,
Relaxing yourself even deeper.
As we sit here together,
I want you to know that you have no place that you need to be.
Nothing you need to do.
I want you to just use these few minutes to allow yourself to be in stillness.
Your mind might wander toward the to-do's of your day ahead.
I want you to come back to your breath.
Focus on your breath.
In through your nose and then exhale through your mouth.
Let those thoughts just drift past.
This time is for you to just be.
To just sit.
If any negative thoughts come into your head,
Just let them drift past.
Without judgment.
Breathing in through your nose and then exhale through your mouth.
This moment is for you to just be.
Be with yourself.
Every time a thought comes up,
Just release it.
Let it drift past and you just come back to your breath.
Breathing in,
Hold at the top and then exhale with a sigh.
I want you to know that during your day,
When you might be feeling busy,
You could be feeling a little bit stressed or anxious,
You always have the choice to come back to your breath.
Slow down just for this moment.
You can be in stillness for that moment.
Be with yourself.
When we take this time to do this for ourselves,
It gives us space to rest and restore.
It gives us space to tune in with ourselves and ask ourselves,
What do we need in this moment?
Sometimes that's just to sit still.
Know that this is available to you always.
You always have the power to create this safe space for yourself.
Let's breathe in one last time.
Really deep.
Filling that belly.
Expanding that breath.
And then as you exhale,
Release any expectation of your day.
You are enough right now,
Exactly as you are.
You are worthy of all the peace that you seek.
