Hello and welcome.
My name is Tina Stinson and I want to thank you for joining me for this meditation.
Please find a comfortable seated position,
Close your eyes,
And let yourself slip into a more relaxed state.
Let's begin by taking a few deep breaths together to help you get present and grounded.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Filling your lungs with air,
Exhaling through your nose,
Filling your lungs with air,
Expanding your belly,
And hold at the top.
Now exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or stress.
Repeat this three more times on your own,
Taking slow,
Deep breaths,
Feeling your belly expand as you inhale and exhale.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring your attention to any areas of your body that feel tense or uncomfortable.
Notice the areas where you might be holding on to stress and anxiety.
Allow yourself to acknowledge these sensations without judgment or resistance,
Simply observing them with a sense of compassion and curiosity.
It might be your jaw,
Your neck,
Your back,
Your shoulders,
Whatever it is,
Just acknowledge it now.
Now visualize a calming light entering your body through the top of your head,
Filling your entire being with peace and tranquility.
Allow this light to flow through your body,
Soothing all the areas of tension and discomfort.
Imagine it washing away any stress or anxiety,
Leaving you feeling deeply relaxed and at ease.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and expand your belly.
Hold at the top and now exhale through the mouth with a sigh,
Releasing this tension.
As you breathe in,
Imagine yourself inhaling this calming light and as you exhale,
Allow any remaining tension or anxiety to flow out of your body,
Being released and dissolved into the universe.
Continue to focus on your breath and the calming light,
Allowing them to work together to restore balance and harmony into your body,
Mind and soul.
Let's end this meditation with one last deep breath in,
Feeling the calming energy reach every cell in your body.
When you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Feeling refreshed and renewed,
Ready to face the day with a sense of calm and inner peace.
