My name is Tina and I want to thank you for joining me for this morning meditation for your perfect day.
Find a comfortable seat and just let yourself relax into it.
When you're ready,
Gently close your eyes,
Allowing your hands to just rest comfortably on your lap.
Just begin by arriving here in this new day,
Letting go of the yesterday,
Letting go of any anticipation for what is to come.
For these next few minutes,
Your only task is to be here with your breath.
Bring your awareness to the simple sensation of breathing.
Notice the cool air as it enters your nostrils and the slightly warmer air as it leaves.
Without trying to change it,
Just follow the natural rhythm of breathing in your body.
Now let's take three conscious breaths to ground ourselves deeply.
Inhale deeply through the nose,
Imagining roots growing from the base of your spine into the center of the earth.
Hold at the top for a moment and then exhale fully through your mouth.
Inhale again,
Feeling yourself fully in your body right here,
Right now.
And exhaling,
Settling into this moment of stillness.
One last time,
Breathing in.
From this place of calm,
We're going to plant the seeds for your perfect day by focusing on three things,
Intention,
Gratitude,
And connection.
First,
Set your intention.
Ask yourself,
What is the one quality I want to embody today?
It might be calm.
It might be joy.
It could be courage.
It could be kindness.
Don't choose an outcome,
Though.
Choose the feeling.
Now imagine this quality as a soft,
Warm light in the center of your heart.
With each inhale,
Feel the light just grow brighter and brighter.
And with each exhale,
Feel it expand to fill your entire body.
See yourself moving through your day,
Carrying this inner light,
Responding to events from this chosen place.
Take a few moments to focus on your intention.
Next,
Feel into gratitude.
Bring to mind one simple thing you're grateful for in this moment.
The warmth of the room,
The bed that you slept in,
The breath in your lungs.
Feel the genuine sensation of gratitude in your heart.
This feeling is a powerful magnet for more positivity.
It sets a tone of abundance for your entire day.
Finally,
Take a moment to feel into this gratitude.
Finally,
Affirm your connection.
Place a hand over your heart and feel its steady rhythm.
Remember that you are connected to something larger,
Be it nature,
Humanity,
Or the universe itself.
You are not alone in navigating this day.
You are supported,
Guided,
And helped.
Release the burden of having to control everything and trust in this flow.
Let's take a few breaths here to honor this connection.
All of this,
The intention,
The gratitude,
The connection,
Can now be distilled into a single powerful affirmation.
This is to anchor you in this day.
I offer you this one,
Or use one that resonates with you.
Silently repeat it after me.

Now let the words fade,
But hold the feeling that they created.
To seal this energy into every cell of your body,
Let's take one final sealing breath.
Inhaling deeply through the nose,
Hold at the top,
And as you exhale,
Release the breath through the mouth with a soft sigh,
Sending this energy into your day.
Gently begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Bringing your awareness back into the body,
Into the room,
And when you're ready,
Softly open your eyes,
Carrying this perfect grounded energy with you into your day.
