Hello and welcome.
Thank you for joining me in this meditation to find purpose and direction in your life.
Let's find a quiet and comfortable place where you won't be disturbed for a little while.
You could sit or lie down.
Just get yourself into a relaxed position.
Now close your eyes and let's take a deep breath,
Breathing in through your nose,
Filling your belly,
Expanding your chest,
And then hold at the top.
And then I want you to exhale through your mouth,
Allowing your body to relax,
Letting go of any tension or stress.
Breathe in one more time,
Expanding that belly,
That chest,
Hold at the top,
And exhale,
Relax even deeper.
I want you to imagine a warm golden light at the top of your head.
I want you to visualize this light slowly moving down through your body,
Filling you with a sense of peace,
Grounding you into the earth.
See it moving down your forehead,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Into your legs and your feet.
Feel that connection to the earth,
Grounding you firmly in this present moment.
Now bring your attention to your heart center.
Imagine a soft glowing light radiating from your heart.
This light represents your inner compass,
Guiding you towards your true purpose and direction in life.
Take a moment to connect with this light,
Feeling its warmth and guidance.
You could even place your hands on your heart center.
In this state of connection,
I want you to ask yourself,
What is my purpose?
What direction should I take in my life?
Don't force an answer,
Simply allow whatever comes into your mind to surface naturally.
Trust that your inner wisdom will reveal itself in its own time.
Now visualize yourself on a path that represents your life journey.
See the path clearly before you,
And notice how it winds,
And it turns,
And sometimes it's gentle and sometimes it's not.
As you walk along this path,
Observe the scenery around you,
The trees,
The flowers,
The sky,
The beauty.
Feel a sense of curiosity and openness to whatever lies ahead.
Embracing any challenges that come along the way.
As you continue,
Acknowledge that every twist and turn on this path has shaped who you are today.
Embrace both the challenges,
The joys,
Knowing that each experience has brought you closer to understanding your purpose.
Feel a sense of gratitude for the journey with all of its ups and downs.
Now imagine meeting a wise guide on your path.
This guide could be an elder,
A mentor,
Or a symbolic figure that resonates with you.
They offer you words of wisdom and encouragement.
Listen carefully to their message,
Absorbing the guidance they provide.
What are they telling you?
I want you to repeat silently to yourself,
I trust my inner compass to guide me towards my true purpose.
I am open to the journey and I'm grateful for the direction that I'm taking.
I am open to the journey and I'm grateful for the direction it provides.
Feel the truth of these words resonating with you.
Gradually bring your awareness back to your breath.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your belly,
Expanding your chest.
And exhale.
Start to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Gently awakening with your body.
Take a moment to express gratitude for this meditation,
For the guidance you received,
And for the journey that you're on.
