Hello and welcome.
Thank you for joining me for this meditation.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable seated position.
Close your eyes and we're going to inhale through the nose deeply for a count of four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Holding at the top for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
And then now exhale slowly through the mouth for a count of six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
With each breath,
I want you to feel your body relax and your mind become more centered.
Breathing in again through the nose,
Filling your belly,
Filling your chest.
Hold at the top and then as you exhale through your mouth,
I want you to allow yourself to relax even deeper.
Letting the shoulders drop away from your ears,
Releasing your jaw and allowing your body to relax into the surface of whatever you're sitting or lying on.
Now imagine a glowing light in the center of your heart space and with every breath you take,
This light begins to grow brighter,
Spreading warmth and light through your whole entire body.
This light represents your inner spark,
Your passions,
Your desires,
Your joy.
Notice how it feels to let this light grow and expand throughout your body.
As you sit with this light,
Ask yourself,
What brings me joy in my life?
What day-to-day moments make me feel most alive?
Allow any images,
Memories or sensations to arise naturally without judgment.
Now,
What would it feel like to be able to feel this way all the time?
To have joy and passion in your life every single day and to be able to let this momentum build and guide your life and all your decisions?
Repeat after me,
I honor the spark within me that lights my path.
I want you to visualize carrying the spark with you within your heart center throughout your day,
Noticing how it brightens your experiences and guides your action.
Come back to this meditation often to solidify these feelings in your body.
