Take a Take a moment to fill the ground beneath you,
To really land in the physical body and just feel awareness,
Really lighting up the body from the inside out.
Like coming home and turning all the lights on in the house to illuminate every room,
Every corner,
Every detail.
You can just take a moment to turn the lights on and feel everything and know every part of it.
And as you settle in,
You can start to bring forward an awareness,
All of the plans that you're currently living in.
Maybe even especially the plans that make you feel like you're in a hurry,
Like there's not enough time,
Like you're not going to get it all done.
The plans that make you feel like things aren't okay and that this day has derailed,
This week,
This month,
This life is off the rails.
Just notice the tension that you tend to carry around and this belief like things aren't going as they should be.
Maybe it feels like a relationship is off track.
Somebody you love isn't living how you think they should be,
Isn't treating you how they should be,
Or it's your career that needs a jump start,
That needs an overhaul.
Whatever it is,
In this moment,
Just practice letting these plans go the way you would relax the muscle in the body,
Relax the muscle in the brain that holds these plans in tension.
Just for a moment,
Feel what it's like to be held in a bigger plan,
The capital P plan.
Feel the presence of this moment,
The intelligence that guides you deeper and deeper and deeper into your soul's journey.
The mind,
The planning mind,
Thinks it's supposed to be somewhere else,
Not here.
But the soul,
Presence itself is always right here,
Eating up experience,
Using this experience to wake up,
To open the heart,
To more fully receive the blessing of life itself.
What you can plan is too small to live.
Let the smallness of your plans just melt like snowflakes in the ocean.
It doesn't mean it has to stop snowing forever,
It doesn't mean no more plans forever,
It's just a relaxation into this recognition that the small plans are part of the big plan.
And ultimately all the small plans ultimately melt into the big plan.
And it's not the neurotically clinging to the form of a snowflake,
To the success of a plan that we want so much,
But rather the experience of melting.
Holding the small plan sets us up for the experience of melting and the recognition of who we've been all along,
And the deep care and love and intelligence that holds us all and will remind us of this presence and this boundless love as often as we're willing to be reminded.
