
Loving-Kindness Walking Meditation
We will practice Loving-Kindness walking meditation for approximately 26 minutes. To do this, start by generating feelings of loving-kindness towards yourself, wishing yourself well-being and happiness. Think of short phrases you can have for yourself. As you walk, extend these feelings of loving-kindness to others, silently offering wishes of peace and happiness to those in your life and even those you encounter. When you do this, notice any shifts in your heart and mind as you cultivate feelings of compassion and connection during your walk. Before starting think about your walking path, prepare your attire, and stretch. Pause if you need to anytime while listening to instructions. Accompanying background music will aid your walking. Keep focusing on your loving-kindness throughout and choose the pace that works best for you.
