Welcome to The Mindful Movement.
I'm Sarah Raymond.
This is your time to soften,
To surrender,
To let go of all that is not yours to hold.
A space where you can set everything down,
Every expectation,
Every thought,
Every weight you have been carrying.
I invite you to make yourself comfortable.
Find a position where your body feels fully supported.
Let the ground beneath you remind you,
You are held,
You are safe,
And you do not have to carry everything alone.
Take a slow,
Unhurried breath in,
And a soft,
Effortless breath out.
Feel the weight of the day begin to dissolve.
There is nothing to hold onto right now.
No need to strive or to figure anything out.
Simply be.
With each breath,
Imagine your body loosening,
Unfolding,
Like the earth after a soft rain.
Releasing its grip,
Softening,
And surrendering.
Let your shoulders relax.
Let your hands rest open and easy.
Even the breath itself requires no effort.
The inhale comes,
The exhale leaves.
Just like the waves rise and the waves return.
Life moves on its own,
Without force,
Without resistance.
You are not here to control this moment.
You are here to experience what happens when you let go.
With your next breath,
Sense a warm breeze moving through you,
As if a gentle wind is passing through an open window within you.
It knows exactly where to go,
Dissolving tension,
Lifting away the weight of expectations,
The need to be anything other than who you are right now.
Notice how a release happens naturally.
There is nothing to push away,
Nothing to force.
Simply allow what no longer serves you to drift away,
Like grains of sand carried by the tide.
Now imagine yourself standing at the edge of a calm and beautiful beach landscape.
An endless stretch of golden sand.
The air is warm,
The breeze is gentle.
The horizon stretches far beyond what the eye can see.
You look down and notice your hands are full,
Full of energy.
Full of grains of sand.
Perhaps you've been holding this sand for a long time without even realizing it.
Each grain represents something you have carried.
Expectations,
Looping thoughts,
The weight of the past,
The need to do it all,
To hold everything together.
Perhaps there's shame or guilt you've been holding on to.
As you observe this sand in your hands,
You feel the effort in holding on,
The tension,
The strain.
And then with one deep breath,
You let your fingers part.
You let go.
You sense a soft release.
And you watch as the sand flows effortlessly from your hands without resistance.
The sand caught by the wind and carried away.
As you breathe again,
You open your hands fully.
And any remaining grains of sand pour down like cascading light,
Slipping through your fingers with ease,
Returning to the earth.
As the grains of sand fall,
Something inside you releases too.
You let go of the need for control.
You let go of perfection.
You let go of the weight that was never yours to carry.
You simply let go and surrender.
And yet you realize you have lost nothing.
You are still here,
Whole,
Complete,
Free.
Breathe into this openness.
Feel how much lighter you are when you stop gripping what was never meant to be held so tightly.
There is nothing to force,
Nothing to prove,
Nothing to fix.
There is only this moment,
Only this breath.
As you walk forward across the sand,
Your empty hands feel lighter than they have in a long time.
There is a relief in knowing you do not have to hold on to everything.
That letting go does not mean losing,
It means freeing yourself.
Look at your hands now,
Open and relaxed.
Feel the warmth of the sun,
The gentle wind moving through your fingers,
Touching the places that were once clenched with effort.
There is nothing to hold on to now.
And you realize you are whole.
You take a step and the sand shifts beneath you,
Effortlessly adapting,
Moving with you,
Not against you.
This is the way life is meant to be.
Fluid,
Adaptable,
Open.
Letting go is about making space,
Space for joy,
Space for ease,
Space for life to unfold without resistance.
With your next inhale,
Surrender even deeper into this energy of flow.
Surrender to the present moment.
Surrender to trust.
Surrender to the knowing that everything happens in its own perfect time.
The wind picks up slightly,
Carrying with it the whispers of something greater.
The quiet reminder that you are not alone.
That there is a force within you and all around you,
Guiding you,
Holding you,
Carrying you forward,
Even when you cannot see the path ahead.
You can let go of the need for control.
You are worthy.
You are worthy of love.
You are meant to move like the wind,
Like the tide,
Like the shifting sand.
Let yourself feel this freedom now.
A lightness in your chest,
An openness in your heart,
A quiet strength rising from within.
You are releasing.
You are letting go.
And in this release,
You are becoming more at peace,
Becoming more of yourself,
Becoming someone who trusts the unfolding of life.
And as this truth settles deep within,
Something new begins to take shape.
A deep knowing that you can move forward,
Untethered,
Unburdened,
And free.
Standing in this vast openness,
You feel it now.
The certainty that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
The wind moves around you,
Through you,
Whispering an ancient truth that you are now remembering.
Life can be lived fully when you surrender to the flow of the universe,
When you accept what you cannot control.
Let this truth settle into your bones,
Your heart,
And the space where worry once lived.
A warmth spreads through you,
Soft and steady,
Like sunlight filtering through the trees.
You are simply here now.
And it is enough.
You are enough.
Life is moving through you,
Supporting you,
Guiding you,
Even when you cannot see the full path ahead.
Feel the quiet power of allowing.
Feel the openness with the deep knowing that everything is okay.
Let this knowing anchor deep within you,
A steady presence you can return to whenever you need it.
You are safe.
You are supported.
You are free.
You are enough.
You are worthy of love.
As you prepare to return to your day,
You do so with these truths woven into your breath,
Your body,
Your being.
Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the space around you.
Feel the support beneath you,
The movement of the air against your skin.
Take a long,
Slow,
Nourishing breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Allow your eyes to open.
Return to your day feeling lighter,
Clearer,
And more at peace.
Knowing that everything is okay.
