Welcome to the Mindful Movement.

I'm Sarah Raymond and today I'm honored to share a practice included in a new series of recordings originally created for my hypnotherapy clients,

Now adapted for you.

As you let go of the day's stress and slip into tranquility,

Remember that this journey is also an invitation to explore your own path of healing and growth.

This is your time,

A sacred moment to let go of the day,

Release any heaviness and allow yourself to rest deeply.

As you prepare for a peaceful sleep,

Know that this practice will help you connect with your inner strength.

Embrace self-compassion and gently release anything that no longer serves you.

Find a comfortable position and close your eyes,

Signaling to your body and mind that it's time to relax.

Take a long,

Slow breath in,

Filling your lungs,

And as you exhale,

Feel a wave of calmness beginning to wash over you.

With each breath,

Let go of the to-do list,

The mental chatter,

And any tension in your body.

Recognize that it is safe to be here now,

Fully present and supported by the surface beneath you.

With this support,

You can gently release any physical tension,

Inviting your body to feel lighter and more at ease.

Bring your attention to your hands now.

With your next inhale,

Gently clench your fists and tense the muscles of your hands.

Hold this tension for a moment,

Then exhale fully and release,

Letting the tension melt away.

Now,

Bring your awareness to your shoulders and upper back.

Inhale deeply and shrug your shoulders up towards your ears,

Holding for just a moment.

Exhale slowly as you release them,

Dropping them down heavily as the weight has been lifted from your body.

Shift your focus to your lower body.

Inhale as you tense the muscles in your thighs and calves,

Holding them firm for a moment,

And then exhale,

Release completely.

Feel your legs soften,

Becoming heavy and relaxed.

Next,

Turn your attention to your face.

Inhale as you gently scrunch the muscles of your face,

Your jaw,

Forehead,

And cheeks.

Hold this tension for just a moment.

And as you breathe out,

Let go of every muscle.

Let yourself soften.

Your entire body is now relaxed,

And your mind is beginning to quiet.

Now,

Imagine yourself standing by a peaceful,

Flowing river under a canopy of stars.

In your hands,

You hold a small bundle.

This bundle represents the heaviness you've carried.

Guilt,

Shame,

Anger,

Frustration,

All the emotions that were once protective but are no longer needed.

Feel the weight of this bundle.

Acknowledge its presence,

And honor its role in your life.

With gratitude,

Recognize that it has served its purpose,

And now it is time to let it go.

As you breathe out,

Gently place the bundle into the river.

Watch as the water carries it away,

The current becoming stronger and faster until it disappears completely.

Feel the lightness that comes from this release,

This surrender of heaviness,

And the space you've created within yourself.

Each breath now brings you more peace,

More freedom,

And more acceptance.

Now,

Let your awareness move inward,

Connecting with the stillness and light of your true self.

Your true self,

Or your essence,

Is whole,

Loving,

And strong,

A guiding presence that has always been with you.

Imagine this inner essence as a radiant flame glowing steadily within your heart,

Unaffected by external circumstances.

Feel this light growing brighter,

Illuminating every part of you.

It touches the places where you've carried pain,

Self-doubt,

Or self-criticism,

Transforming them with love and compassion.

Your true self whispers to you now,

You are enough,

Just as you are.

You are worthy of love,

Peace,

And freedom.

Allow these truths to settle deeply into your heart as I share these affirmations with you.

Repeat them silently,

Or let them wash over you,

Simply becoming a part of your being.

You are safe to feel your emotions and let them flow.

You are resilient and strong.

You are able to navigate life's challenges with grace.

You are free to release the past and embrace the present.

You are worthy of love,

Peace,

And happiness.

You are enough,

Just as you are.

You deserve to prioritize your self-care and well-being.

You trust yourself to make choices that support your health and happiness.

You are calm,

Focused,

And open to the blessings in your life.

You allow yourself to rest and recharge,

Knowing it is essential for your well-being.

You are kind and loving to yourself,

Offering yourself unconditional acceptance.

You are free from the heaviness of guilt and shame,

Choosing compassion instead.

You are open to the joy and beauty that each moment brings.

You are grounded,

Stable,

And at peace with yourself.

You trust the process of life,

Knowing everything unfolds as it should.

You are safe to express your emotions and let them move through you.

You are capable of breaking old patterns and creating space for new possibilities.

You are connected to your inner strength and the wisdom of your body.

You are free to be your authentic self.

You are worthy of the blessings and opportunities that come your way.

You trust in your ability to heal,

Grow,

And thrive.

As you rest here,

Let these words settle deeply within you,

Like seeds planted in fertile soil.

Each seed represents a new belief,

A positive shift,

A moment of clarity.

Feel these seeds growing,

Taking root in your mind and heart.

Feel the warmth of this truth radiating through you,

Expanding outward to touch every part of your being.

Imagine this light forming a protective shield around you,

One that allows only positivity and love to flow in and out.

You are safe.

You are supported.

You are deeply loved.

This shield is made of your own light,

Your own inner strength,

And the wisdom of your heart.

It is soft yet impenetrable,

Allowing love,

Joy,

And kindness to flow freely while deflecting anything that does not serve your highest good.

Imagine this protective energy shimmering around you,

Glowing with a color that feels most soothing and empowering to you.

Each time you breathe in,

The shield grows stronger and more radiant,

Reinforcing your safety and peace.

As you rest within this shield,

Feel the gentle assurance that negativity cannot touch you.

Any harmful thoughts,

Words,

Or energies that once reached you now bounce off effortlessly,

Dissolving into the air,

Unable to disrupt your calm.

Inside this shield,

There is only room for truth.

For self-love and for the energy that lifts you higher.

It's as though the universe is working in harmony with your shield,

Co-creating a space where you can heal,

Grow,

And simply be.

This shield is always with you,

A constant source of protection and comfort.

When you move through your day,

It continues to envelop you,

Keeping your energy sacred and untouched by outside negativity.

Each time you think of this shield,

It strengthens,

Reminds you of your inherent safety and worthiness.

You are anchored in love and free to move forward with confidence and ease.

Now,

Picture yourself lying in a hammock under a vast starlit sky.

The gentle sway of the hammock mirrors the rhythm of your breath,

Soothing and steady.

Each star above represents a blessing,

A possibility,

A moment of grace.

As you gaze upward,

Feel yourself letting go of the need to control or strive.

Trust that everything you need is already on its way.

In this space,

You are free.

Free to simply be,

To rest,

To surrender.

Feel the peace that comes from knowing you are enough exactly as you are.

When you are ready,

Allow sleep to gently envelop you like a warm,

Comforting blanket.

Each breath takes you deeper into rest,

Deeper into healing.

Know that this energy will continue to grow and support you as you sleep,

Bringing you strength,

Resilience,

And peace.

Rest well,

Knowing that you are safe,

Loved,

And free.

You are enough.
